After installing this game and restarting my computer ( brand new alienware), I received a message saying windows needed to be repaired. Repaired meaning even my respawn did not work. I needed to delete my partitions, format them, then reinstall windows and all drivers to get my PC to work again. Tech support at AW said that there was more then one user with this issue. Any fixes on this?

it sounds like an update error with windows... make sure you run Microsoft update and get all the optional updates

... that's a new one.. and honestly I'm stumped on why a DAO installation would cause that. For what it's worth, my main system is also a brand new Alienware and I didn't run into that issue.

I was informed that there is a nasty virus on the Dragonage wiki that may be at fault. Just in case i warn you all NOT to go there in case. I'm going to reinstall the game and see if it happens again. If so then I will assume its a compatibility issue/ bug. Will keep posted.
