i know a lot of dragon age origins fans hate demons souls, but it is actually a really amazing game. the only real similarities are that its third person and has magic and stuff, but i would HIGHLY recommend it.
I like Dragon Age, What another game that I should play ?

Kotor 1 and 2.
Vampire the Masqurade: Bloodlines also has a companion mod that is pretty nice.

Fallout 1 and 2. (If you don't have a problem with old school graphics.)

Bless Amazon.com for the following info (I have NO affiliation with Amazon, etc):
Bloodlines has been discontinued by the manufacturer, so finding a reasonably priced disc may be an issue. Could be that an electronic version, if available, is the way to go. Morrowind's Game of the Year edition is still available for an absolute steal; it includes both expansion packs. Ditto for Oblivion's Game of the Year edition which includes the expansion and some DLC. KotOR has also been discontinued by the manufacturer, but copies are available (see comment for Bloodlines above). Both Neverwinter Nights games and both Baldur's Gates games are available in various configurations which can include the appropriate expansions for each game. You can also get a nice three-in-one box set for Icewind Dale.
Many of the older games, especially, are very inexpensive, and Amazon runs some really nice package deals. I'm sure you can find these things in many other places, I just wanted to make sure that what we were recommending would actually be available for you.

Maybe you will like NWN2: Mask of the Betrayer.
Warning: The controls in NWN2 is umm... pretty unintuitive, may take a while to get it right - needs to be heavily customize. One of the most beautiful thing about DA is how seamless and intuitive its controls are.

Steam and Direct2Drive (at least D2D UK) have it available as a digital purchase.Janni-in-VA wrote...

Personally I have always enjoyed the Gothic series.
Although it would seem that compared to part 1 and 2 they have created part 3 to be very demanding on your computer.
So far however while part 3 is the best in my honest opinion I find it frustrating that the game takes ages to finish while at the same time the enemies become a bit too easy when you have decent armor and a self forged sharpened (and potentially blessed) bastard sword. Only the northern winter lands can be fun with Orcs always attacking you.

The Witcher is awesome - though it has some technical issues so check their forums about that if you get it.
Both KotoR games, the Baldur's Gate series
Neverwinter Nights 2 had a good initial adventure, (so far as I saw, though I kept getting derailed by life and never finished it) unlike the original Neverwinter Nights. However, NWN1 had a far larger modding community and hundreds of exceptional fan made modules that would give you near endless hours of replayability. (played the game for a few years and never got bored of it, with the vast array of mods available) NWN2's community is much smaller, though I hear there are some decent fan modules out for it how.
Jade Empire is well worth the playthrough - especially because it is set in a mythical china, which you don't see in many western games. (and a side character from a wonderful book entitled "Bridge of Birds" joins your party)
"Planescape: Torment", which you can still find online some places, is one of the best crpgs ever written.
I hear the first two Fallout games are nearly as good as Torment, story wise, but I could not stand the gameplay in either so never got anywhere in them.
