I'm on my third playthrough of DA:O and I'm going for the HR achievement by romancing Morrigan and Zevran.

Irrelevant to the achievement but I was wondering if it's possible to get the engagement earring from Zevran AND the ring from Morrigan?

I was wondering if I can do this if I choose Zevran when I'm forced to pick between them, and then restart with Morrigan when i complete her personal quest (I read somewhere you can restart her romance by doing this). Will that work at all or will they make me pick again?

Don't want to try it until I get some confirmation as I'd rather get Morrigan's ring overall. Looked everywhere for some guidance on this but haven't found it anything.

I don't know the dynamics of hooking up with both of them and being able to return to Morrigan in the end, but you can start the romance with Morrigan first and get the ring from her. Zevran won't give the earring until very late in the game so you have plenty of time to acquire the ring first. I don't know if you can restart with Morrigan when you are forced to choose, but you can save her personal quest for as long as possible before you march off to Denerim if you can indeed restart the romance that way.

If you keep Zev below I think 70% he won't make you choose, but you have to break 90% to get the earring from him. Don't know about Morrigan.

It's a good point, but my only worry with that route is if I automatically have the tent conversation in camp with Zev once his approval is high enough- I think if you reject him then it switches off his romance permenantly.

I think with this one I might just have to give it a shot and see what happens

Definitely not -- I know one totally safe way to turn Zev down is to imply there's no privacy.   If you hedge a bit, you'll get an option like "but we're not exactly alone" and he takes that with good grace.
