Morigan started with herbalism in the quick bar or whatever it is in the bottom left and I could use it just fine then, but I removed it from the quick bar because it was filling up and now I cant seem to use herbalism since I can't click on it in the skills menu and I cant drag it back into the quick bar and I can't seem to find another way to activate it.

you can activate it by clicking it from the skills menu, but it must be the level 1 skill... the others are just unlockables

then find the herbalism tree, then be sure to drag the "Level 1" version of Herbalism-- that's the draggable icon. The level 2+ can't be dragged, but you'll always use the highest level of herbalism automatically.
