I dont get how you do the manual overide when you find things , it has the " X,Y,A,B" then one letter blinks then it says manual decryption failed. What do I do?

It's a little mini-game where you have to press the face button just after it blinks. If you don't do it in time or press the wrong button, you fail. Some locks have 3 button sequences others have more.
When you choose to manual override by pressing A, be ready to press those buttons as they flash up.
