  Just curious about something noone has mentioned as far as i can tell. I have shale dlc isntalled have tried many things to get it to show up on my map to no avail. There is no quest in my codex but it does show on content in codex that shale is installed and enabled. The thing i am wondering is anyone else that has this problem are you allso getting items that are for shale to drop random on mobs/chests and the like... includeing gifts and whatnot? I just can't help but feel there is some small thing missing here that is keeping it from working.

you get the quest from a random encounter

that's the first i have heard of that but willin to walk around getting encounter's to happen will try that and see what happens thanks for the response will test and repost.

Its not a random event actually, it should have it's own icon on the map.

It's a gold colored (premium content) icon which has a vendor there who leads you further.

Not sure what the location is called exactly, its near the dwarves and its supposed to be a passage to Orlais.

Hrm..... started tp get my hopes up there for a min.... Just odd is all i have been looting all kinds of gear for shale but sadly i have to shale to equip. On a happy note all the other dlc's i have work fine.... meh

something you might try is disabling the content, force-loading your game, saving, and then re-enabling the content and loading that new save

I have tried that allready or rather my roomate said he did ima give it a shot on my character to see if it will fix the issue.


 Side note how much does it effect me being logged in with all this i usually don't bother logging in when i am playing..

Well tried all kinds of loads/saves logged in not logged in multi characters once again no luck.
