I have already played this once and only came up with 2 of the pieces.  There were a couple of chests my Leliana couldn't open but I thought I had explored quite thoroughly - obviously not well enough.  Could someone give me some clues as to where these parts can be found so I miss them this time.

The hardest one for me to find is the last one; easy to overlook depending on camera angle.

Thanks for the help. Now I have the locations there is just one other problem. The guide tells me I need a lockpicking score of 40 - where on earth do I find my score? - This was a problem in my first playthrough of Origins - even when my rogue had all the lock picking talent they couldn't open all the chests.

From the little I understand, all 4 Deft Hand talents + 30 Cunning will open any lock in the game. Check the DAO Wiki for better details (cannot link currently; sorry).

Every level of deft hands gives you 10 points. (Cunning -10) gives more points.

(Cunning - 10) + (Lockpicking Rank * 10) = Lockpicking Score

This equation determines your Lockpicking Score. The Lockpicking Rank is your level in the Deft Hands Tree: Deft Hands is Rank 1, Improved Tools is Rank 2, Mechanical Expertise is Rank 3, and Device Mastery is Rank 4.

As a note, Leliana starts Leliana's Song with a Lockpicking Score of 28, but also starts with 2 free Talent Points. Since she's at Level 10, you can grab Mechanical Expertise, giving her a Lockpicking Skill of 38. Two points in Cunning on this level-up will give you a Lockpicking Skill of 40. So at the start, you can give her the 40 Lockpicking she apparently needs to get all the pieces (I'm on the 360, so I have no way of testing how much Lockpicking is actually needed for them).

Thanks everyone, I have managed to get the armor. Now for the big question - I have completed Leliana Song - when do I get the armor in Origins? I see the Dragon Scale armor in my inventory from the beginning of the game but not the battledress. Does it only arrive with Leliana?

For all my characters it just appeared in the inventory - this is for 360.



It is a good piece of armor for Leliana (although not as cute as the Dalish armor).

I completed Leliana's quest, pc version, and have just started Origins again, the armor is not in my inventory should it be there already like the dragonscale armor or does it arrive later in the game when I meet with Liliana?

I noticed that the Downlaods take a little longer to be completed/authorized since the latest patch. Just wait until Loading a game until that is done, and you should be happy.
