That would be something. I know it's probably extremely difficult but we can always hope.

I would be neat but I don't think it'll happen. I, personally, would like a statue of my warden erected somewher ein commemoration of how she ended the Blight.

I guess not, simply because Warden has no voice and game is fully voiced. So you cant meet silent NPC

I thought as much however it would not be so unthinkable if they added two voices. One for any female warden and one for any male warden. Ohhhh that would be soooo cool. I get shivers just thinking about it. Talking to your former avatar about the decisions you've made.

Yeah, it's giving me shivers, too. Shivers of dread.

Do you have any idea what these forums would turn into if they threw the Warden in as a cameo and voiced him? I don't know, but I don't want to find out. Think I'll take a vacation about then.

He or she should be mentioned in passing by some NPCs, but that should be about it. If your save file somehow knew exactly what you looked like at Lothering, perhaps they could show in a cut scene (obviously with no dialog) but that's just wishful thinking.

Bioware Forums and RPGcodex: Oh god Bioware stole my character and raped him. That is not MY voice Bioware and that is not MY character; that was an ABOMINATION!

Everyone Else: Dude that part when Hawke's party met up with the Warden's party was awesome. It was good to see him and the old gang again.

Morrigan fanbois:  But he wasn't with Morrigan. Mooooooooooorrrrrrriiiiggggaaaan!!!1111oneoneone

I would rather not see my Warden in DA2. If s/he had any reason to be around, I want to be able to play as him/her and not just have a cameo.

See them passing by or from a distance would be nice but beyond that would be kinda strange.

It would be fantastic to see the Warden - just so long as s/he only answers your questions with facial expressions.

maybe see the Warden do something or during a fight while in Ferelden (as you start in Ferelden). Other than that I don't see it happening, highly doubt we will be able to talk to the Warden.

As long as the Warden doesn't speak. I would rather not want Bioware to put words in the mouth of my characters that could clash with personalities I imagined for them.

I can't imagine why the Warden would be there other than to stare blankly. They can't have a personality, they can't speak, and if you never played DAO, this person is damn boring and meaningless.

If we see the Warden, it'll be as a corpse.

this could work if the warden just shows up and doesn't talk

or as the OP said, the warden shows up as a statue

I think it would not only be cool to have Hawke see our Wardens, but it would add some significance and weight to later news about what's going on in Ferelden. For example, if you did the Ultimate Sacrifice, instead of Hawke hearing "some guy/girl gave their life to defeat the Blight," Hawke will have seen that person. He or she may have already formed some opinions about him or her...ranging from maybe bitterness about the Warden's "abandonment" (in Hawke's eyes) of Lothering to perhaps almost awe. And then hearing that news will be a lot more meaningful.

So I am definitely in favor of a "cameo" of the Grey Warden...but I would rather not hear him or her speak. It would be impossible to satisfy everyone, and there's nothing to be gained by trying.

Just walking past and seeing them would be an OK nod. You could even replay one of Alistair and Morrigans banters.

No. I'm assuming that Bioware would use th imported saves to construct the personality of the warden. ........hmmmmm then again. It would be hard to do that because not everyone was straight out good or evil. There would be those who made just as many evil choices as good ones making it extremely hard to accurately craft the warden's personality so I understand why people would say it's a terrible idea.

Not hard to do, impossible. You could have a character who's Lawful Good as they come and still hates people and hates getting along with them. You could have a snarky badass angry fellow. A gentle, dimwitted naive fool. They can't, they can't match every personality.
