We are going to need bigger guns
I've heard through sources I cannot name that the only additional recruitable squadmate deemed necessary for ME3 is Chuck Norris and the heavy weapon included with him is a slingshot.
Rumors of the Citadel Races demise are as you can now see, greatly exaggerated.
Nope, Blasto Is all we need.
Blasto kicks ass and chews bubblegum. And he's all out of bubblegum.

Obviously, but all Reapers look the same... is that racist?
As a Reaper-American, I'm deeply offended.
LOL I've been wondering that though. If they were trying to make a human reaper, and they supposedly make a new reaper from every race they wipe out, why do they rest of them look the same???
BW hugely dropped the ball on that one. EDI said that reapers take the image of the race used to create them (don't know how she knows that) but all Reapers look the same, all 3,877,765,784,475,765,834,763,975 of them.
Actually, they don't all look the same.
enlarge this picture however you do on your computer, and look closely.
They don't all look the same.

It's not like organics haven't banded together to fight the Reapers before, the Protheans were far more advanced than any current race of organics and they were either killed or made into slaves.
The Protheans were also caught completely by surprise and their leadership was killed during the first sneak attack. That decapitation move was later followed up by the Reapers taking control of the relay network, so all the Prothean clusters were isolated, classic divide and conquer. The fight wasn't fair, and the Protheans never stood a chance because they fell into the trap. It's also questionable just how powerful the Prothean military really was, from what we can tell during the last cycle they were the only advanced civilization for some reason, since the other ruins were much much older. If they were alone, what incentive is there for a strong military?
EDIT: It's also worth mentioning that perhaps except for the first harvesting, the Reapers have never fought an intact enemy, instead depending on the relay trap they had setup to demolish organized resistance in one surprise attack.

Im willing to bet that we will defeat them but not destroy them. I can see ME3 ending with the thought that some day the Reapers will be back.

before we get to the final battle with the Reapers (now why does that sound so familiar)
ah, i know...
That sounds to me like Ferelden vs Arch Demon
so will this be something like that but only with space ships....
i will say it very mildly i don't think i would like that very much
i really would hate it if that would be the case
any thoughts on this

How about in ME3 Shep realises that the only way to ensure the Reapers never return is by destroying the Citadel. He tries to no avail to convince the council who will "dismiss" such a notion as they think he is nuts.
SO ME3 is about trying to cinvince non-council races to join with you to assault the Citadel( ala Saren) and destoy it (paragon) for the sake of all life in the Galaxy. Or seize it for Cerberus (Renegade) and your new allies and disable it permanently to deny it to the Reapers.

Have you not played the first MASS EFFECT?The Harley Dude wrote...
Since the reapers are huge how will they be fought?
In any case, methinks the Reapers have underestimated the Rachni. They now have a sentient queen willing to fight with Shepard. And they are not pleased with what the Reapers did to them . . .

We don't get to fight the Reapers. We simply fight thousands of Husks and Scions.

God I hope not. If so there better be some better short range weapons. Melee + Husk = Epic Fail
