Volus as a member of the squad (even if it is mounted on the back of an Elcor).

An armor with appearance of VORCHA.

I think with what we all said thus far, they still don't care, i'll just say this for the ****s sake.

make this game very long, tiring, and satisfactory, I will not stand for a few hours of gameplay, while there are thousands of Reapers to deal with, this can be done properly, dispatching teams into several areas, making them deal with a reaper at hand, analyzing enemies that are defeated, finding ways to beat the stronger ones easier, thi game can be easily the best game of the decade, but if you throw in MP into it, you will **** the game over.

I agree with Havoc10K, make this game very long, tiring, and satisfactory, I will also not stand for a few hours of gameplay, everybody knows that the longer the story/game-play the better, like all RPG's are supposed to be, and avoid/fix all the same glitches that are inflicting ME2 (especially in the DLC department!) a game is not supposed to be influenced/effected by outside software like ASUS related software!!!!!!!!!!!

just a small thought. actually have younger versions of the species in the game. like a 50 year-old asari, or 14-year old human as it just seems out of place with out young-lings running around. and then for the credits add a loop. [if directory .../.../... =1, play .../..../....] because if you do a another play-through with all the dlc installed there is about 3-4 minutes of silence with no skip.

I agree with ETermin, all the RPG's I've played on the ps1 and ps2 showed children of all ages playing around an stuff, and another thing, I think while were waiting for ME3 to come out, it should have new characters to like a vorcha, a batarein and maybe a new alien specials/allie to recruit against the reapers and we need to know more about the reapers (like discover there origins or something?), and we need to see more alien women in the new ME3 game (like turean and salarian females and est., I'm tired of only seeing human, asari, and quarian females alone, we need to see more of the different alien culture and lifestyles from both sexes perspectives!!!

this is just an idea make it so you can play the story with out recruiting if you wish. It would allow people to carry over squads from mass effect 2 no matter depending on who they saved without having the squad become maybe 15- 20 people..

1. Return to overheating system for weapons from ME1. The switch to clips was a lame cop-out which didn't make sense. In game the claim is that it allows a higher rate of fire, but switching clips and running out of clips all the time actually gives you a lower rate of fire. Go back to ME1's overheating system, but adjust the rate at which things overheat, and use the heat-clip lore to have you have to replace the heat-clips if you allow a weapon to overheat. This way players are punished more for letting the weapon overheat, and there is something of an 'ammo' system going on, if you have to have it, but they can also get an impressive rate of fire when they do let themselves get overheated.

2. Keep the 'upgrades' system from ME2, were all relevant gear is affected by upgrades (such as all pistols, all sheilds, etc.), but restore the item customization slots of ME1. However, instead of an inventory of pickups, keep the way ME2 has you simply own enough copies of everything for all properly skilled team members to use, and rather than ME1's steadily increasing numbered versions of various items and add-ons, have use the upgrade system to upgrade all items of a certain type (such as for biotic amps, all biotic amps, or all certain aspects of biotic amps, or all biotic amps of a certain brand, and for weapons, all weapons of a certain type, or all scope add-ons, or all stabalizer add-ons, etc.).

3. Rather than have massive and confusing inventory like ME1, or limited customization like ME2, use ME2's system of only being able to change weapons and armor (except helmets, which should be able to be taken on and off by appropriate characters at any time they aren't in a hostile environment) you should only have one copy of any item in your armory, all fully upgraded according to your upgrades so far. You would use ME2's selection chance at the beggining of levels or when encountering an armory rack, but similar to ME1's ideas, allow characters to change-out the add-ons of weapons in combat. For instance, you could switch ammo-types in combat similar to how ME1 does it, by switching ammo add-ons, or switch your scopes for stabalizers or temperature management systems. You'd still only have one of each type you are proficient with of each weapon category, but with more variety in them like in ME1, and you can change out the add-ons in combat.

4. Return of the mini-map without shift/pause.

5. Allow squad armor choices, including choosing a color scheme, and some more patterns. If you want, you can even have the entire squad use certain colors. Everyone should at least be able to wear light armor (although some characters should have reasons to wear something even lighter and thinner, such as stealth types with specialized cloaks and certain speed types who have cybernetics and/or genetic enhancements which don't function or have reduced functions when wearing armor) and those proficient should be able to choose heavy or medium armors appropriate to their race.

6. List of nicknames, being called 'Shepard' by your romantic interest and close friends gets weird, have a list of nicknames your Shepard can pick and allow certain characters to use. Possibly treat some the nicknames as an extra little backstory bit, similar to War Hero, Colonist, etc. with different stories behind certain nicknames. Some would be gender specific. Additionally, some characters will give Shepard a nickname in some situations regardless, of their own choice. Just reduce the constant calling of 'Shepard' or 'Commander' all the time. If it's too hard, just go with 'honey' or something with the romantic interests.

7. Have choices from the first 2 games make a significant impact. Try to avoid too much of the filler 'this happened' type stuff where it is only mentioned in conversation or you get some random mail on your terminal telling you about how things have progressed like happened in much of ME2. That is fine for random minor characters, but significant choices should have more effect (such as saving the council, letting the rachni queen live, converting or killing the Heretic Geth, destroying or preserving the collector station, etc.). ME2 was very dissapointing in how little effect saving the council or not in ME1 had on the game. Make sure ME1 choices have effects, no just importing ME2 stuff and ignoring ME1.

8. Better hair, more face customization, more hair colors (including weird dyed ones and the ability to dye your hair and get different haircuts at a barber somewhere would be nice), biotic eye implants purchaseable with different designs (and colored contacts), more gradiation of skin tone and complexion, more gradiation of aparant age of Shepard, and different male/female movements for Sheppard, better melee movements, and better 'dance' (by the goddess Sheppard was a horrible dancer in ME2, some dance lessons from Ceberus for formal events or from Kasumi for infiltration purposes might be nice).

9. More winning through flirts. Let Shepard flirt with some characters in certain situations like with Samara's loyalty mission.

10. I Am Assuming Direct Control! This Hurts You!

QUE.
Is there a big difference between ME3 & ME2 engine?
ME2 engine is the most optimized engine I have ever seen.
I hope ME3 for PC wouldn't be console port but as optimized as ME2.

it looks like it's gonna be dumbed down to console style and then port, but yeah, optimizing would be nice, also, no wall climbing would also be nice, although I'm more interested in DA2 atm and DOW2:Retribution :)

I believe you can delete your post. or just ask a mod to remove/merge it.

I read someone wrote that is playing ME 2 on Athlon xp 2400 (15 years old processor).
This shows how this engine UT 3.5 is superbly made and Bioware programmers did great job.
SO, if ME3 is in same engine UT 3.5, it will run the same, right?
Is Bioware hearing our pleads? :crying:

Was it MA2 also ported from console?

How is ME2 running on PS3 ?

no, ME2 wasn't ported, but ME1 sure looked like it, they did learn a few things, but wouldn't hold my breath, cuz from the comments and updates it just seems like it will be a port from console, I only hope there will be no MP, many things resolved.

About subtitles:
For those that we have to read the subtitles in Spanish (or other languages) it is sometimes difficult to detect quickly where the dialogue begins when the talker's name is very long, example:

Long name of character: Text of the dialogue...

It would be good that they put different color to the talker and the text. Or to separate it a little more with some symbol to be able to visualize quickly where the text of the dialogue begin, example:

Long name of character: Text of the dialogue...
or
Long name of character  >> Text of the dialogue...
or
Long name of character  :: Text of the dialogue...

Thank you!

shader model 5.0  is somewhat new so even if they went with shader model 4.0 I would be happy.  bring the new meaning to MAX GRAPHICS.

just thought of this but the fires the seem to have very little depth (as in xyz axis) would be nice if tehy would pop out a bit more for the game scenes instead of just the cinematics.

I would love to see some more in-depth romance scenes. In ME2, though the romances were alot more detailed in the pursuit of a character, still seemed like a chit-chat and have one night together. It would be cool if Bioware could enhance the relationships between characters-- see more of the "togetherness" other than super casual convos as you make youre talk-to-the-crew rounds. Maybe even have an a few assignment which are just for you and your romance character-- something a lot more in depth and personal would be great.

Also, i love how they set up the galaxy traveling in the ME2, however I somewhere miss the "Survey" to obtain resources, as mining on planets were painfully time consuming. I also somewhat miss the point-and-travel traveling between planets. Having control of the ship was a cool idea, but I miss the ME1 style for that part at least.

Thats about it :D

Cant wait to see the results!

The game has to be XP/VISTA/7 32bit/64bit compatible, and it's interactions with it's DLC's should never be as flawed as ME2 it did with it's DLC's did!!!
