As an counter mesage, to al people who think that there is already a reason to complain, for what  ever reason.

With the titbits of info I've seen so far. I want to give my two thums up.

If i had a reason to complain/ critizise Bioware the last couple of years, the only two points that came to mind where:

1) why don't you're games heve the multiplayer options as in NWN anymore

2) Why do I always have to save the world.

It seems point 2 has been taken care of, a story on a smaller scale leaves so much more space for an emotional rollercoaster, I love to see the struggles of a refugee, his/ her fears.

I already thought Leliana's song was a great step, in being a smal wheel in a bigger plan, DA2 makes me very exited.

Yeah new story
yeah no saving the world.

Keep up the good work and maybe, give us a presistant world comunity like NWN.

A fan.

Yeah, isn't that what we do in real life? If so then we don't need a game u're living the adventure!

Befit, think of other media used for entertainment.

There are a lot of adventure movies that don't save the world and are stil very entertaining.

Big words tent to lose value at a rapid pace, same with big scale.

saving a village in stead of the world would give you a chance to go realy deep in character development. Less people means more time per character in the game, which meaqns more time for smal suffering en smal joy's, which can be as entertaining as their big brothers.

Take HBO's Rome for instance: Ceasar,Marc Anthony and Octavian did the big story where as Titus Pollo and Atia in my opinion where way more intresting.

I'd rather play their story in something bigger than be the something bigger

I thought in Dragon Age: Origins you're saving Ferelden, not the world.

Swinging a sword wherever you want may lead to unfortunate legal ramifications, also where can I get these 'arms'?

I wouldn't give them a thumbs up for trying to solely make more money. I wouldn't give them a thumbs down. I wouldn't give them anything until I played the game and I see how I feel about it..

Sometimes games made for the mainstream can be the best games around. Can be.

lol I understand that however it's all matter of opinion some people are too ambitious to play town guard. There are different personality types that have different interests To me I wonder "Why care for a little village when there is a whole world out there?" But it dosn't always have to save the world conquering a nation could do just fine.

I thought there was a Grey Warden stronghold outside of Ferelden that would have took care of it.

That just means u're not allowed to do it, u still have the capabilty if u so choose. U just have to deal with the consequences just like anyother good RPG Posted Image. U can find arms at u'r nearest organ doner Posted Image

in other words: i am not sure that stronghold could manage to stop the blight.if it past ferelden, the darkspawn army would become stronger and bigger.

As a blight continues the more strength it gathers. The more resouces are at their disposal lumber, weapons, armor, fortifications, women to become broodmothers, making it harder to stop. Also since blights are far between national armies probably don't have the proper training to deal with such a threat. Hence why Grey Wardens are needed
