Will we be able to see our warden in DA2? Since it's confirmed that DA:O save will have certain influence on the story of DA2, it might be a nice thing to be able to see our warden doing good/**** from Hawke's eyes.

You're not talking about talking to the warden are you? Because that's dumb. I'd like to hear about the stuff that he/she did.

No, not necessarily a direct interaction with the warden. But to be able to see him/her would be fun.

It might be fun but unless it legitimately plays into the story I don't want to see my warden. Too often developers sacrifice realism for the sake of satisfying fanboys' desires and it negatively hurts the story.

Case in point: ME2 has scantily clad women fighting in vaccum space because the developers think we're all immature 12 year old boys who can't appreciate women unless they're half naked.

Well unless they erect a statue in my honor somewhere, I hope I'm *not* seeing my Warden. You know, he's all dead and whatnot. I'm sure there will be mentions of the Warden's deeds, whether it's an import or the preset. If news of the Blight being defeated in Ferelden isn't being talked about all over the world, that would be a shame.

Statues, books and tales told in taverns would be ok.

The Warden is dead - either because of US or because of the Calling.

End of story.

I don't remeber that? When did it happen?

Miranda's as-good-as-naked costume. And Jack.

ah right Jack, I wouldn't count Miranda's outfit though, it's not that revealing.

If that were a joke, it must have been the false and unfunny sort.

Seriously though, her outfit is tight and all, but you dont really get to see anything other than her junk in the trunk.

I will only want a cameo if I get to choose what my warden gets to say. Silly? Yes. Hopefully this will put an end to all the "warden in DA2" requests.

It would be need to be a brief period as i've debated in other threads where. Your warden comes across Hawke. It would need to be something like a road crossing or a bridge. They never speak only look at each other. This would give the cameo something to remember and everyone of us fans would pizz our pants with joy.

You could say no all you want, but you would get that chill down your spine with delight.

I STILL remember my equipment when I was in Lothering, so Bioware better get that right if I'm to just see my warden pass me by and don't make my warden appear as from the last save with the Warden Commander set and Starfang/Keening Blade strapped to my back.

Lothering is the only place I can foresee such a cameo, unless Hawke went traveling all over Ferelden.

Right you are. And if seeing Jack with bra and trousers excites one so, perhaps they indeed might be considered as 12 year old immature boys. I've played the game and really have no idea where this talk is coming from.. The things people will complain about...

I will make a reasonable argument:

Warden's story is NOT finished (I heard that somewhere)...

DA2 is set in a span of 10 years overlapping DA1 (so at most 8 years more than the DA1)

Most of it will happen in Free Marches.

Thus, the Warden will NOT go to Free Marches in VIEW of Hawke. So he CAN go to Free Marches and be a rumor of an Unstoppable force that strikes Darkspawn wherever he meets them... But never make a cameo. Otherwise... We will NOT be playing his story.. ever.

I don't know about you, but my DR Warden has a good 28 or so years left before his Calling. That's still 18 even after DA2 is done.
