There's nothing official about it. But, I think it would be cool to see Aeonar (the secret mage prison) since kirwall has such heavy templar influence.
Yeah this would be interesting, mostly because if your warden choose the mage path you can find out what happens to Lily or Jowin. I think this would be a spice or a treat if Bioware implented those characters for a second game play through.

I felt terrible for Lily. I wish I'd been able to pack Jowan off to Aeonar instead of her. On the other hand, Aeonar smacks of Spellhold, and I've had enough traumatic experiences in mage prisons that I'm not sure I want another. *shudder*

you seem to be presuming a bit much

why would they announce this on a forum this early, when so little of the games content has been announced? you want them to say what one of the levels is, and post screenshots?

It's not really presuming when prison sequences are such a pervasive RPG trope. There are prisons or detention scenes in DA:O, NWN, NWN2, KOTOR II, KOTOR, BG2...I could go on and on.

The guards in Oblivion had to learn the hard way: I onve slaughtered about 50 of them in the imperial city..... Was fun^^.

Perhaps... but how many feats of badassery compare to breaking loose out of nearly impossible odds with little more than your underpants?Tirigon wrote...
Prison levels suck. I always play badasss chars, and a badass doesn´t get caught.

Underpants are for losers, why not unsheath the one true sword?.
EDIT: I mean Ageless, what did you think?

*snerk* So true. The various ways in which you can break out Revan, Carth, and Bastila while onboard the Leviathan are some of my favorite aspects of KOTOR. Not to mention Oghren and Zev trying to sneak into the fort. Oh, Zev

The Lily situation made me feel a bit sick. I really, really wish she would have argued for herself though (it may not have done anything, but still). And I wish the game let me say something on her behalf as well. Again, it may not have been effective, but that wouldn't have stopped my character.

Yeah, it was right about then that I started really, seriously disliking the Chantry--and especially the templars. I mean, Lily wasn't terribly bright, but she hadn't done anything all that wrong. She trusted a guy she loved, got burned, then gets packed off to freaking Aeonar? WTF?

Well, she WAS a willing participant in the destruction of his phylactery. Think of it this way. Imagine a real life situation where the love of your life is a major police suspect. Do you think that secretly destroying any methods of identifying him (fingerprint records, DNA samples, etc.) is "not doing anything wrong"? Tampering with police investigation is a serious crime, as is the Thedas equivalent of screwing around with the Chantry's stash of phylacteries.Sable Rhapsody wrote...

I said she hadn't done anything "all that wrong." Yes, she made a mistake. Yes, she f-ed up. But so too did the Warden if you side with her and all that happens to you is you getting packed off to Ostagar. Lily gets locked up in Aeonar, and from her terror, presumably for life. It's analogous to sending someone off to Alcatraz for tampering with evidence. A bit overkill, no?
