I'm hoping for a battle through the Alliance's main space station,

I doubt Bioware will put one in. We will probably get some Independance Day virus that makes them go boom, and then cake.

Humanity seems to be of interest to the reapers, so they probably wont go killing them, and I dont peg billions year old machines as having any use for revenge.
Id suspect the other council races would be hit hardest, as they make up the majority of the population of the Citadel.

Anyone think Earth will get attacked?
I get the feeling Earth is going to be the primary target. Is it me or was there a lot of forshadowing for this in ME2?

A military attack usually doesn't have the objective of just destruction of everything. It is usually to secure an asset or force the enemy to surrender. In this case the population itself is a resource.

Have a feeling we gonna need to choose between citadel(salarians, asari and turians mostly) and earth(humans mostly)....
I thought that too, or some how destroying the Mass Relays to stop the Reapers. Which would have server repercussions. I hope ME3 has multiple endings... like old school RPGs, look at Fallout 1+2.

This. I have the same feeling. If you look at it pragmatically the reapers have been amassing numbers for millions of years and even hinted at having ships at every known world with life of interest to them at the same time.
The galaxy's current residents are no match for that even on a day where they all play nice with one another. So we need either space magic (and loads of it) or a neatly written AI virus to beat them at their own game.

One of your squadmates always says "They must be going after Earth" and Shep replies "Not if we stop them" on the "derelict" Collector vessel, right as you enter the big space with the platform in it where the trap is sprung.
And note that Earth is now on the Galaxy map -- but you can't do anything on it.
Also ...
Turians since they have the largest fleet are going to be contributing
to the defense of every race, the casualties will add up quick.
That's very true, but I don't think they'll be the main target. The Turians will bear the brunt of the fight, though.

Earth was on the galaxy map in the first game too. I remember being sad I couldn't land there.
