I like to think we'll finally get on to Earth seeing the Reapers are bias against humans.

The Reapers better stay the F away from the Hanar homeworld. If they lay one indoctrinated finger on the Hanar there will be hell to pay!

They should let us kill a few Hanars in ME3, those bastards always pissed me off for some reason.

Am I the only one that actually wants to see a possible ending involving a human reaper deathship to curb stomp the universe for all of eternity?

I think humanity will be hit the least because the reapers wish to perserve them as a slave race. all the other races are expendable

I think you guys are missing the BIG picture... its the plumbers who will be hit the hardest... when the reapers show up... first you say it then you do it. a billion toilets suddenly overflowing with reaper induced panic.

Those idiot Reapers believe Humanity to be the best race in the Galaxy. Humanity is probably the most flawed of all the races. The Reapers deserve to fry for their stupidity.

I hope enough people get hit hard enough so that I can put people into positions of power

Garrus for the Turians

Tali for Quarians

Samara for the Asari

Wrex for the Krogan

and my Shep for humanity

But the Krogan and Salarians are at a heavy risk since their females do not leave their home worlds.

Kinda like keeping all your eggs in one basket (pun intended)

I'd love Earth to be occupied right at the outset of the story (maybe even while Shepard is there forcing him to escape). I'd quite like the planet to be devastated regardless by the end of the trilogy but with the Reapers destroyed.

I think this would make for probably the most interesting story for later visits to the franchise. I'm guessing Earth is quite a powerhouse of industry and wealth but also a point of grounding for the Alliance. Take it away and the story could go cool new places and give humanity something of a scar since they seem way too shiny.

For the franchise to continue after the Reaper war the game will need to have just one ending, acting as a re-set for the universe.

In Ending of ME2; Reapers fleet start marching toward Milky way. I bet there won't any direct fight because the number of Reapers which appeared in last scenes are tens of Thousand if they are not Hundred of thousands. There won't be any fleet in galaxy capable to stop them. if Reapers divided their fleet; all fleet in galaxy will be doomed and Reapers will distribute the balance in their favor.

I believe the Reaper may go rogue and destroy the Citadel in their initial attack because of;

it is the least prepared for any assault, especially after the destruction of majority of Citadel fleet by Sovereign and Geth.

And without the Citadel; There won't be a Council that supervise galaxy which will lead to tension and tartar in relationship between species. Because everyone want to take the lead in fighting the Reapers and nobody is going to trust anyone. And then Reaper can start their regular cycle..... BUT;

This cycle has an issue; Shepard may able to stop the cycle of extension for the first time;

what will be the sacrifice he will make to stop them; still unknown

The KEY answer can be found at launching of the last mission in ME1 & ME2 is the Rely;

for instance;

ME1 Shepard was trying to Find the lost Mu Rely to reach Illos

ME2 Shepard was trying to go through Omega 4 Rely to reach the Collector base

ME3 Shepard will try to find .......... Rely to switch off Reapers.

What is going to happen is mystery, But searching for particular RELY is MUST!

i think its fairly obvious that humans will suffer the hardest hits... Harbinger's Human Reaper is evidence that they like our species for its genetic potential. And that is the sole reason, aside from perhaps a "season" of fattening up to last for 50000 years.

Let us also NOT forget that ME1 was not the first time in recent memory that Council space has been threatened by the Reapers. Sovereign attempted first to begin the purge using the Rachni. Clearly he thought that either the Salarians or Asari were sufficiently advanced to be of use for the Reapers. Both perhaps, possibly even the Volus, since these three races were the most widespread and populous of Mass Effect using species.

Turians have a powerful military. Its clearly a military that could crush humanity if its power was unleashed upon us in total. Their fleets would suffer greatly, but i would think that they'd be of less interest than either Humans, Asari or Salarians. We see more variety amongst these species than any other in-game, and that genetic diversity is what the Reapers are attracted to it seems.

While all of the myriad possibilities do excite me, I won't get my hopes up for anything too spectacular. I would, of course, love to see planetary invasions and bombardments, I want to experience desperation in Mass Effect 3, I want to feel powerless for once.

I think that they will have the deciding battle at the Citadel with all species taking a hit.

The Reapers will be coming to take it back Shep knows this and will somehow use the Citadel as the Mass Relay that it is to jump the Reapers to somewhere outside the Galaxy or into a Supermassive blackhole to destroy or remove their threat.

I think, and this is just a small theory, that the Keepers in the Citadel might have a large role in defeating the Reapers since they are thought to be just as old as the Reapers if my memory serves me right.

remember that the council and the alliance could barely hold of one reaper. The reapers could like send 3 reapers to the citadel, 6 to each species home planet (including earth. then send 10 reapers to each mass relay. 2 reapers will stand guard at the relay and the others take out all the colonies in the cluster. That is atleast what i would have done. Oh and send all remaining reapers at the Normandy

I agree, in the up coming war there has to be a sense of being powerless to the onslaught of the Reapers, a fight of desperation and the constant looming threat that the Reapers are oh so close behind you.

My thought, probably the humans, they are the focus of the reapers, especially Harbinger, I think all organics(including geth due to Legion) will unite to create a diversion, and in ME 1(Warning: Spoliers) Vigil, the prothean holocron/ ai guy, said the citadel is one big Mass Relay, so maybe it will be a race against time for Shepard to destroy the citadel(maybe even costing Shepards life) before the entire reaper fleet gets through while the joint forces of organics and Geth(If im right about Legion) hold them off

the krogan (with genophage cured) would be an awesome fight haha and the rachni...has to be good for something...i didnt save their last queen from extinction for nothing haha...plus if Krogan + Rachni fighting on the same side against reapers would be epic with the council races confused at this revelation haha...

Turian Councilior: What the h3ll is going on here??

The turians. They have the largest navy, so its only natural that they're gonna get hit pretty hard.
