Finally seem like I got the installation to succeed but happens then after two days of headache... I do the configure in the startup screen and press play and get the following message  

"Failed to authenciate the disk. Please insert the correct disk and try again"      

Why!! I checked the serial number and everything is correct.

Please help.

using Windows vista 64 bit.

Chandler, you and I and Dateranoth are gonna have to sit down and get those kinds of fixes laid out... we have a mod willing to do a sticky for a troubleshooting FAQ and I've got a multipage word doc of fixes and only covered about a half-dozen of the most common Non-DLC ones

Jiron, that's a great idea. I'll sort out the ones I have, and PM them to you as I find them. I wasn't aggregating them originally but will do so now. Unfortuntaely, I haven't seen a method to easily search through my own posts. Others forums have this but this one-- if there is a way it is elusive.

unfortunately the search function doesn't work on this forum and hence why a FAQ stickied thread would be so useful... Bad move on Biowares part to not get forum up and tested before launch... Good luck on the FAQ.

try "jump to own posts" in the drop downs at the top chandler... it will give you all your own and while I had a ton... I was able to get through a lot of it fairly quick
