I wouldn't mind unlimited arrows being implemented just for comfort, just as long as there are limitations on 'special arrows' through rarity, price,or ability use.
Good thing that's exactly how it worked in DA:O isn't it? :innocent:

Yeah, except the regular arrows were also limited.

Okay admittedly I've only used Leliana and Nathan as archers once, but seriously, were normal arrows in DA:O buy-able or am I thinking of Baldur's Gate?

Yeah, they were buy able , but money I needed for better equipment for my tanks and spells and poisons. I don't need to be spending my money on arrows that is a ignorant mechanic to put in a RPG. Its handy if you came make a lot of cash looting, but it was still very expensive and I don't like waisting gold and stuff I could be using for poisons and herbal potions. Like I said. The normal arrows were limited too.

My games alway one of the ones which crashes at the mage tower due to the combat. Even though my computer can handle any game it throws at it so it might be something in the code. I might beable to fix this with a mod.. I like that part of DA:O a lot. hehe its very mod friendly. As for DA2, I would like unlimited arrows or at least beable to make my own. I think it would give the people who like the ranger class something more meanful towards their hawke character.

Do you mean normal arrows as in those that are instantly equipped the same time you pick your bow/crossbow? Because those never ran out in my archers.

Some people did think they'd run out when their archers would switch to melee weapons, but that was a problem with their tactics settings - they hadn't run out of arrows because it was impossible to run out of arrows.
I actually complained about this feature during development. I didn't want unlimited arrows (because I objected - and still do) to BioWare's exclusive focus on tactical gameplay rather than strategic gameplay.
BioWare didn't do as I asked, and yet still some people are asking for unlimited arrows. Even though we already have them.

Anyway, you don't need them to fire.

We should get a wood cutting ability that allows us to cut down trees and use the lumber for our fletching skill to make bows and arrows.

Aren't you forgetting Mining for metals, Smelting, Blacksmithy and co?
