I don't know this was brought up in another thread, but is it possible I could probably get a bow with unlimited ammo or at least have a skill which will let my archer make arrows from trees. This would be just fine with me. I wanted to create an archer in DA:O, but couldn't because the arrows are two expensive and you run out of them two quickly. I think its the one thing which annoyed me the most. Also you should let me get my arrows back from enemies after I kill them.

We should be able to make arrows from loot, like herbalism or poison.

I wouldn't mind unlimited arrows being implemented just for comfort, just as long as there are limitations on 'special arrows' through rarity, price,or ability use.

Good thing that's exactly how it worked in DA:O isn't it? :innocent:

Yeah, except the regular arrows were also limited. Posted Image

I've always had unlimited normal arrows in Origins.

Well it would be cool if you could loot wood from the Trees for arrows, or even have Boddhan Fedic make you new arrows all the time.

Okay admittedly I've only used Leliana and Nathan as archers once, but seriously, were normal arrows in DA:O buy-able or am I thinking of Baldur's Gate?

There is infinite normal ammo for bows and crossbows.

Yes, but special arrows had to be bought and they ran out extra quickly I would bring loads of Ice arrows to my Boss dragon fights. Only to find that almost all of them had disapeared halfway through the fight.

We should get a wood cutting ability that allows us to cut down trees and use the lumber for our fletching skill to make bows and arrows.

It shall be called Dragonscape.

Yeah, they were buy able , but money I needed for better equipment for my tanks and spells and poisons. I don't need to be spending my money on arrows that is a ignorant mechanic to put in a RPG. Its handy if you came make a lot of cash looting, but it was still very expensive and I don't like waisting gold and stuff I could be using for poisons and herbal potions.  Like I said. The normal arrows were limited too. Posted Image

My games alway one of the ones which crashes at the mage tower due to the combat. Even though my computer can handle any game it throws at it so it might be something in the code. I might beable to fix this with a mod.. I like that part of DA:O a lot. hehe its very mod friendly. As for DA2, I would like unlimited arrows or at least beable to make my own. I think it would give the people who like the ranger class something more meanful towards their hawke character. Posted Image

Do you mean normal arrows as in those that are instantly equipped the same time you pick your bow/crossbow? Because those never ran out in my archers.

Non-magical arrows were unlimited. You could not possibly run out of them.

Some people did think they'd run out when their archers would switch to melee weapons, but that was a problem with their tactics settings - they hadn't run out of arrows because it was impossible to run out of arrows.

I actually complained about this feature during development. I didn't want unlimited arrows (because I objected - and still do) to BioWare's exclusive focus on tactical gameplay rather than strategic gameplay.

BioWare didn't do as I asked, and yet still some people are asking for unlimited arrows. Even though we already have them.

There are no normal arrows in DAO. So either you can't run out of them, or you're always out of them.

Anyway, you don't need them to fire.

also i real life arrows are expensive and complex missiles , which are labor to produce . Why bother with archers when you have mages in first place ?

Regular arrows were unlimited in DA:O. Only special arrows had to be found/bought, and were limited.

Arrows are, were, and always have been unlimited in dao.
