i experienced a power crash and after i started the game again all my achievements were wiped out. is there any way around this?

not really, the crash corrupted your game files.
not like they are really important except for ego stroking. they dont do anything, unlike the acheivements in ME1

they give you 25% exp boost, the unlocked bonus powers and cash + minerals when you start a new game...so it is not just an ego stroke.
