I was looking at the modules available for NWN2 and planning on playing a character through multiple modules from level 1 to hopefully somewhere above level 20. Do you have any suggestions on what modules to play in which order so that the ending levels and starting levels match. Is there a chance to do this with evil characters as there seem to be a lot more modules designed with good/neutral protagonist in mind?
Do you have any personal experience with taking a single character from level 1 to 20 through community modules and what was your experience and character like when you did it? Which modules did you pass through?
Are there any resources online that could be of use in choosing my path. I've mostly been looking the Hall of Fame modules at the vault so far.
Module paths from level 1 to 20+

Look UP in the Sticky thread: All NWN2 Modules Together. This is exactly the type of use that thread is designed to aid.

I know a place you could start
Where ever you do choose don't forget to vote afterwards, it is much appreciated.

I`d love to see actual suggested paths, like what Berliad did for NWN. When I have the chance I`ll try to put one together. Modules in a path not only need to match up in levels, but be logical in setting, location and backstory and somewhat consistent in loot. Linked together they have to tell a coherent story of one adventurer`s life.

That would be good, particulalrly if it jumped from author to author to keep things different.

Just a curious thought, how would custom content be managed going from module to module. What if mod A uses a special wepon pack and mod 2 does not, but your character has those weapons? or heads etc.

Along these lines, there seems to be a real absence of mods that can take you from the 13-20 level range, which just so happens to be where character building gets interesting.
I miss the days of 1-20 mega-mods like Penultima.

The thread is quite useful if I have a character at some level and I am looking for something to play next, but neither the thread nor the most of the module descriptions at the vault have any indication what level your character will be after finishing the module. I was just asking for help making a plan on what modules to play or If people have personal experience taking a character through multiple modules, without having to use any autoleveling options or trainer mods in between.

I'm hoping I'll soon have the 'teens' level ranges covered...

I dont know why people keep expecting modders to make level 10+ mods when all the creatures are asbent. How many incarnations of the illithid and overpowered humans can we create?

Actually my experience is that most of the modules' descriptions on the Vault do sort of list a range of starting and finishing levels. Then again, most of the time, I find out about a module reading the forums themselves and when I play it, I have read the forums, where folks ask questions like: Is there any Romance? How high a level will I be at the end? Can I play an Evil Character? etc. So my view might be tainted in that regard.

Templated monsters are the way.
I miss my NWN1 Pherenic Manticore and Vampiric Beholder. Not to mention the Half-Fiend (using Half-Fiendish variety from the Wizards website) Umber Hulk. Happy times.

Pharaoh Revisited will be for levels 12-15. But it is a month or two out from release.

I think this is great point, though there are some settings, such as spelljammer, ravenloft and planescape, that can support entrance from any Prime or act as logical bridges between different Primes. But the point is that the transition from module to module feels plausible for the player.
