You know, I don't quite understand the correlation of terribad between incest relationships and sex with old (old, old, old, old) people (monster?).



When someone asked (seriously) about a sexual encounter with Bethany I'm sure I'm not the only one who actually physically recoiled, but Flemeth is weird but delicious in a story perspective (you're just one more notch on her belt heh). Hell, perhaps Flemeth managed to get Morrigan after all.

I don't get the problem with her being centuries old. Desire demons might be centuries old but I'd still shag them (yes, horns and all). As long as Flemeth is in a hawt form she's definitely bangable. I'd just be worried about her killing me afterwards.

Hmm, aren't there screen shots on this forum depicting Flemmeth in a High Dragon Form again? I find it hard to believe you're going to be able to have a high dragon on your team.



Of course I could be wrong, but looking at that I would assume she's once again a boss fight. And another interesting thought, if you've seen some new Qunari screen shots they have the horns too, that look pretty close to Flemmeth.



Maybe she finds a Qunari daughter somewhere over the ten year trial?



Either way I think the evidence available at the moment suggests Flemmeth won't even be part of the party.

I'm quite interested in the idea of romancing a near immortal being, with regard to her possible feelings for romantic partners she will outlive (possibly), especially if it turns out that she is the Maker.

Just because Morrigan couldn't shapeshift into other human forms doesn't necessarily mean Flemeth couldn't. Morrigan saw nothing to gain from it. Flemeth likely would, however, especially if it involved transforming into a seductress in order to secure herself a new daughter.

Besides, just because Flemeth was a crazy swamp hag in Origins doesn't mean she's going to play the same part in this new one.

Well let's break Flemeth into points:

[1] She can transform into other human forms, that has been mentioned during the development of Origins, and the Devs actually posted a story of a Templar hunting her and she took the forms of different humans, who's to say she can't be a lovely seductress?

[2] The screenshots we see of her thus far are before the Warden killed her, they are while Hawke and Bethany are escaping Lothering, and Lothering gets overrun by Darkspawn after doing one main quest, by then you can't even have the quest to kill her, so would she be in our party? not at the beginning of the game, as having an immortal witch who can transform into a high dragon is a gameplay breaker, my guess we can have her as a party member after the Warden kills or spares her, then the only guess would be that she needs a new body soon, and she just chose a not so ready female mage and took over her body, then she'd actually take some considerable time to regain her abilities, that's the time when she'll be in Hawke's party, IF she ever joins Hawke's party, that's just speculation.

[3] Another guess would be that Flemeth doesn't age at all, it's the body that withers and no matter how long she lives she won't grow weaker than she was in Origins, that means she doesn't need a new body at all, but she gets them only to look so much younger than she already is, I guess when she meets Hawke and Bethany in Lothering she sees Bethany as a possible candidate for a daughter, she'll deceive us join our party and try to take over Bethany's body, at which point it'll be another boss battle that I thrive to win.



Ah, here I'm babbling about something not related to the core of the topic.... Flemeth romance? HELL YEAH!!!!!

Sorry, someone had to say it.  Personally I hope that if she is a "boss fight" she's the real deal - major player, major obstacle - rather than a side quest.  

I would much rather her be working with you though ... perhaps not as part of your team, but working parallel to your cause throughout the course of the game.  Being immortal she is certainly a character whose schemes would stretch years and in a decade long story you'd have the opportunity to see them unfold.  

I think it would be fun running into her again every year or so and kind of "catching up" through banter or the like.
