Like we see Liara, or some asari have on theirs... if we go into battle with w/e clips our weapons hold, then that is on my , honestly I did not ever thought that was the idea. If somy mistake.
I know you aren't being sarcastic and if I seemed rude I apologize. It's just one of the very first things I noticed about the game. When I reloaded it just has an eject animation and no replacement animation. When I play a game I tend to examine how my weapons work and what is going on.
I do agree that in modern military ops everyone should have backup rounds. I just notice that Shepard doesn't have any utility pack or pockets on his armor to actually store ammo. You only get those with the off hand ammo pack, ordnance pack, and the Kestrel legs which all rightfully give you extra capacity.
I just think the idea behind it is that firing the weapons generate heat. Each shot "fills" the heat sink and after awhile it has to be ejected or the gun would jam. Thus you eject it and another one slides into place. When the weapon is out of clips of course it can't be fired.
Granted this is all a fancy way to almost force you to use the weapons but to me it makes sense and I do like it. I know now that you do too, you just have an issue with how much ammo some guns are allowed to have. I can understand that. I certainly wouldn't mind more ammo in the guns either. But I did feel the need to explain why in some sort of real world sense the game mechanic is reasonable. It may be pointless since it's a game we are talking about, but people like to compare real life and games. It makes for interesting discussion.

The pistol is useless. Too man enemies and backgrounds and other things are blue in the game you just can't see the pointer on 1/2 of your targets meaning your aren't going to hit them. I really wish it was higher contrast to everything around it just so you could see the dam thing.
Change your settings, cause I use default settings and I see the targeting laser PERFECTLY.

It's just you. I quickly killed 5 husks long distance with the Phalanx and didn't miss a shot, that's how good it is.Aprudena Gist wrote...

I have every single detail set high and force on AA/FSAA etc and you can see it some of the time but on some targets it just never shows up on.

I'm not disputing its effectiveness if you can hit the target. It just doesn't show up on ever kind of target making it kinda pointless to its use.Freakaz0idx wrote...

No harm. I just thought since we got some bonuses on armor pieces for "extra" armor, like that one on your shoulder... and your extra heavy ammo pack etc. that Bioware would learn tog ive more ammo by default on top if we decide to upgrade.
Still since Bioware is aiming so much for shooter like game... if you try to appease everyone it will end up being crap. Make it up, either go shooter with a somewhat realistic feel, and ditch fantasy relating to gameplay, or go back to fantasy gameplay RPG and ditch most shooter.
Like they say, being the jack of all trades master of none... aka... sucks in everything lol.

Personally, I kinda like it. Just wish they'd given it justifiable background (you
know: that it doesn't fold because it's outdated, or because the power assembly's
too complex, or whatever).
Still - it's neat to have something different.

I love the Shotgun and the Assault Rifle, put the pistol not so much. I like it, but it TOO accurate. And since I don't have all the Heavy Pistol Upgrades it's weak too. I'll stick to predator.
But the Shotgun is WOW!
The shotgun is RIDICULOUS. It can one-shot a guy with full shields on insanity: no other weapon comes close unless you count heavy weapons.

The pistol's great if you aim and load up on Heavy Disruptor or Incendiary. Just follow the laser line (and forget the dot) to line up on the target. Beats the for me and my squad. The Mattock... not so much. Not for me, anyhow - good for the squad though, since I have a Revenant on the Soldier.
So far,it beats the Equalizer or Aegis packs in value. Especially that shotgun - good for Sentinels and nice for Vanguards in sone situations that don't involve multiple target crowd control.
