The Geth Shotgun is another weird one. Its not double barreled. Its got THREE barrels. That, and it can be charged for a more powerful blast. That's all well and good, but not for a Vanguard that's constantly running around and charging the enemy. If you can stay behind cover and pop out to use it, it becomes incredibly lethal, and it is very long range(more so than the Eviscerator, from what I can tell), so its a keeper for SOME situations. As long as you're Vanguard Charging, stick to the Eviscerator or Claymore.

Thanks for the new weapons Bioware. I might not end up using all three, but more variety is always welcomed.

I assume it's not possible to maybe precharge the new shotgun, use biotic charge and then fire a fully charged shotgunblast?

It still sounds like a fun weapon. I mean there really is only so much you can do with shotguns, since ME2 already had a slow heavy hitter, a fast firing shotgun and one(or rather two) inbetween, so this weapon actually sounds fairly unique.

Why? The link is public, anyone can download it but you still need to buy it if you want to play the game. Those who pirateDLC/games have this already anyways.

Its not any better then the hand cannon actually. Its exactly the same ammo, damage, but with a laser line instead of a cross hair and it fires slower. Its just bad.

Bioware found a very nice idea. Cut original content from the game and sell it in bits and pieces...comes to about the same right?

Proof that content other than Zaeed and perhaps the Normandy crash site were actually cut from the game? Zaeed and possibly the Normandy crash site were given as 'free' dlc to encourage people to either buy new or purchase access to the network if buying used. 

Almost all the story-driven DLC packs were cut off the original game:
Zaeed is part of the Dirty Dozen. (same strategy like the Golem from DOA).
So is Kasumi (which her files where found on the disc).
LotSB's files also show presence on the disc.
Firewalker pack was also suoposed to be part of the main game too (they talked about the vehicle in past trailers, and squadmates have special voices for those missions).
and Normandy's Crash Site is not "serious" enough to be called DLC (nobody would have sold it).

Really? No improvement at all? Just a laser pointer? ....and here I thought us hand-cannon users finally got something new and better. Well, I'll still take a look for myself.

The other guns are definite improvements but not the pistol unfortunately.

That depends on when it'll be released. If it's released when I'm not asleep or at work, I'll be sure to do that - if no one else has already done so by then
