All three emails from TIM-
=====================
--------------------------------------------------
Mattock Heavy Rifle-
Shepard,
Miranda has been working with EDI on crunching battle telemetry
numbers, and EDI had an interesting thought. She suggested we may be
overlooking older, proven technologies in an effort to provide you with
state-of-the-art. Normally, I wouldn't give much credence to the idea,
but when an AI criticizes you for loving high-tech, it gives one pause
to consider.
With that in mind, I delivered a few heavy rifles, the Mattocks, to
the Normandy. They've been modified for thermal clips, but the rest of
the rifle should be the old, reliable gun that colonist militias have
been using for decades. Good hunting.
--------------------------------------------------
Geth Plasma Shotgun-
Shepard,
A cell of ourse acquired an interesting weapon from the geth. It's
much like a shotgun, but it's higher-tech -- something to do with firing
superconductors that create plasma on impact. Its ammunition is more
specialized than those of our shotguns, but it's not hard to make or
modify. I've arranged delivery of a few of these weapons to the
Normandy.
--------------------------------------------------
Phalanx Heavy Pistol-
Shepard,
EDI informed me that Jacob recently acquired some M5 Phalanx pistols
from some friends who shall remain unnamed. I appreciate his
resourcefulness, but had he come to me, I would of made the
arrangements. We've discussed this, and to show there are no hard
feelings, I've had a few more complimentary Phalanxes, replacement parts
for their laser sights, and their repair manuals delivered to the
Normandy. Use them how you will.
I thought these emails are funny, especially the one about the Mattock being a hunting rifle (Heavy Rifle)

Happy Hunting.
Most excellent. Now I can keep my promise to javierabegazo.

I knew I'd make a typo. If you put that up in the OP, change "mag" to "may".

Cerberus Network =/= Everything Ever Will Be Free
We got a fair amount of good stuff from the Network. I like these DLCs, give me something new to do with a game I've played already, makes it fresh. I'll keep paying for them as long as they're quality. 160 is like $2. Having a really high quality shotgun makes the pack worthwhile to me.
and X360, there is a Cerberus Network card with a unique single-use
code. Login to the Cerberus Network in Mass Effect 2 and register your
code to enlist! Once you are a member, Cerberus Network content is available to you at no extra charge."
The description implies otherwise. Yeah, it can be interpreted as the way you said, but it is a very dishonest interpretation. I can deal with paying for Kasumi and Overlord and eventually Shadow Broker, but having people pay $15 so they can pay $2 for packs that *used* be to Network benefits is frankly insulting.
Not that I expect my words to fall on anything but deaf ears.

The description doesn't imply anything beyond that, Whatever is labled "Cerberus Network Content" will be free with membership.Zaeldren wrote...

The Devs never said all DLC is labled Cerberus Network Content
That being said, I also wish this pack would come free but alas, it is not. I'll just find some small change in the couch to make up for the expense

The M5 takes some getting used to, which I have not gotten around to in the confined spaces in the Tunnels beneath Hocks estate.

Tell me you didn't copy this from the screen. Please. Tell me this horrible horrible error is not actually in the game.

I can say that the Mattock is a real kicker when used with Shredder Ammo (Armor Piercing Projectiles).

I think Hocks is where I will first use the M5 by giving it to Kasumi. It will help me recreate the Kasumi wallpaper...

Is the geth shotgun and the assault rifle better than claymore and revenant respectivally?
Geth Shotgun wise, it depends on your playstyle. If you're a vanguard, and like to use charge, I don't think so. But if you were a Sentinel, I'd recommend it. It's more about range (since you can do great damage from afar), and charging the gun to spread the blast to hit more targets.

javier, I'm rendering a clip atm with footage of the pistol and the rifle. I can't use the Geth gun, so that one won't be in the vid - I made Jack use it so maybe you can see something from there. I'll upload it to YT asap and post the link here - or can PM the link if you want.
Might as well put it here friend, for all to see!

Availlable in 1080p (recorded and saved with this resolution) and 720p. You can see Jack firing the shotgun at the beginning of the fight. And I tried to show how the rifle is fired - 1click-1shot (no auto). The laserpointer of the pistol is only there when you aim.
