I do too. In my video, the last mech of my first run had a BEAUTIFUL end, all thanks to the precision of the Phalanx.

It tears MECHs apart very fast...

As if my vid didn't prove that. lol

I did make an operational mistake at the end.

I should've got behind cover. Instead, the adrenaline was rushing so I wasn't thinking and I charged into a mech I really didn't have to charge.

Oh well. I went out like a CHAMP.

In any case, it looks like the Phalanx is not what I hoped it would be: something more akin to the Blacktail from Resident Evil 4. Instead, it seems like the Carniflex is indeed this game's Blacktail.

Liking them so far. Actually, at one point I got suspicious and checked to see if I was still on insanity. The pistol does an unusual amount of damage for a pistol. I think so, anyway. Haven't used the AR or the Shotgun yet.

For Soldier, the pistol is pretty good. Slowing down time helps.



But it wasn't as easy for my Engineer. So I used the Shotgun. Which was just amazing.



I don't like the fact that the AR completely changed my mind on getting the Revanant. I don't want it any more with this AR. I'll get the Widow instead. Definately no point in getting the Claymore, not now anyway. I'm glad I haven't got the that yet.

Its not that much more powerful.  If you charge it up its about 25% more powerful; but charging up a second shot takes longer than it does to reload the Claymore.  Additionally it doesn't have the stopping power of other shotguns, so as a Soldier I actually prefer the Eviscerator since its better at knocking back enemies at close range.  Its freaking incredible against some units that shotguns are normally useless against though, namely Praetorians and YMIR mechs since it has the range to hit them from a safe distance while still dealing a devestating amount of damage.

Its more like a Sniper Rifle than anything.  If you've got a Sniper Rifle its not that useful since the Carnifex is still pretty accurate and can deal damage faster since it has a higher rate of fire; but if you're playing as a class without Sniper Rifles its a God send.  Even if its not that useful to a player with Sniper Rifles its still really fun to use.

In all seriousness, I'll try to make some sooner or later, once I actually get around to buying the DLC (Look at this, like casting judgement without any expertience. Heavy risk...). Wouldn't be surprised if you actually turned out to be right and I'd prefer it as well.

Also, mind showing us the Charged Charge? And if the new shotgun knocks enemies back or not?

this. i would rather not have to go through the process of extracting my save file from the 360 take it to my laptop and tinker with it only to have it as a temporary bonus. id rather have something perminant...

I won't be filming more videos tonight. Youtube pissed me off by degrading my 1080p videos to 360p.

I'm currently reuploading the first video completely raw, but it looks like its going to take HOURS before it goes up. High quality and all that jazz.

you are aware that if someone clicked the 360p on the bottom of youtube videos they can choose which quality they would like to watch, right?... 360p is just the default

maybe for the next "pack" DLC bioware releases a sniper rifle that is like an assault rifle with a scope, you know with like 25-40 or so rounds a clip and full automatic and a new smg that is like a small automatic shotgun, and a heavy pistol that has a scope as well? just to help even out the number of weapons in each category

Just got home after a day at work that drove me madder than a bastard on Father's Day, checked the announcements and found some spiffy new DLC, and smiled for the first time in hours. Then I tried to purchase it...and tried...and tried again...and again.



And again.



Having the same problem a few other people have had. I click on the link, go to the DLC purchase page. I click "Buy Now," select 160 BW points...and get sent to the masseffect.bioware.com. I click Firepower Pack in the news section, get sent to the DLC page, and click PC in the Purchase section. Back to the purchase page. Buy Now, 160 BW points...and I end up back at masseffect.bioware.com again.



Again and again and again. I stopped counting after the tenth attempt.

then my guess is that you have to change your capture settings or your render settings, depending on if you're takeing the step to go through a piece of video editing software. which i guess you already know... if you are going through a video editor which one are you using?

I'm going through the necessary steps. Some tweaking here and there and at SOME POINT, my videos will be re-uploaded in crystal clear HD as they should've been 12 hours ago when I filmed them.

imovie 08.? *facepalm* sorry i just hate macs... worked with them for two years in my film class and in that short amount of time they have glitched on me more often than pcs... but anywho if you're interested the best video editing software for macs is final cut pro, we used that in my class and i toyed around with imovie, which has extreme limitations when it comes to video editing.



another weapons pack idea for bioware. how about the geth weapons pack where it comes with a geth sniper rifle, pistol, smg, and heavy weapon, and hey why not some armor. then asside with that a collector weapons pack with a sniper rifle, shotgun, smg, and pistol. dont release the rifle and armor from the collectors because i feel that they should remain exclusive to the collectors edition
