.... if I had to bet, coz they will probably "sell" you an upgrading kit, or an upgraded version of it later on?

I keep wondering... a game that has even slight RPG elements to it, with no multiplayer... where does over the top balancing comes into place?

.... I am sure the Spectre weapons of ME1... are not balanced at all. But... guess that is another game completely different all together.

In ME1, especially on harder difficulties, enemies could take more damage than the Mako, over-the-top-damage weapons were the only possibility to get a mission done in a civilized amount of time!
In ME2, even on Insanity, enemies die a lot easier (though they still can take more damage than the Hammerhead, ... nice ironic continuity, I could even think that was made on purpose!), so that kind of weapons just make the game ridiculously easy if everything dies the moment it enters your muzzle sight. ME2 is definetely more a shooter than ME1 was and I have to say I would find the game boring if I would happen to shoot with Cain-Nukes with the rate of fire of the Revenant since the first level...

No no no, I agree with over powered weapons... I am just wondering, why can't they make a decent weapons.... not weapons that fire ezzo for ammo.

Is like what, ammunition is at its all time high in 2100?.. Stock market for weapon industries crashed that made heat sinks incredibly expensive?... or in 2100, nobody has comed up with a nice neat idea, of adding a vest or pockets to armor, or nice shotgun like pockets to add more heat sinks to your overall count...

heheh I now there are armo upgrades for that kind of thing. But those upgrades should be to add to "reasonable" ammo loads, not because we fire gold bricks for ammo :P

Still, you mistunderstand, my point of balancing, is not regaring to power output, which can always be mitigated by players not using that weapon...

But my main beef is regarding the great idea of using ezzo as ammo. I know ME universe is in bad economic times but wow. when it hits home is when you realize how bad the situation really is :P lol

Wow, they look awesome, has anyone noticed, the pistol makes nearly the exact same sound as the escape pods that eject from the Normandy SR-1 at the start... that's how powerful it must be. o_o

Having watched a friend play hours of Fallout 3... I don't see ME2 as having a "low ammo issue". Heck, you start every mission with a full load, and never have to spend anything on it.

As for the DLC and cost and completeness of the game...

On the pro side, I received the game as a gift, didn't know about the DLC.  I installed it, and immediately received the Cerberus Network downloads to add to the game.

On the con side, I do feel like the game was a little incomplete as shipped... for an entire galaxy, it feels like there aren't many places you can visit... plenty of worlds to drop probes on, not many places to land.  It would be nice to have outposts, cities, and stations to visit, even if there are just mini-missions and shops there.

If your main rifle, runs out of ammo in the middle of a fire fight and you have to switch over to a pistol... yeah you got low ammo. No other really definition for it. Should you run low on ammo in fire fights, no big deal, you pick up badies.. but running dry a bit too often is clear indication of low ammo.

The laser pointer on the new pistol takes some getting used to but it's pretty darn efective.  Thankfully I've noticed the aiming is somewhat forgiving.

Still can't access the DLC at all... if you feel like fixing this Bioware, anytime soon, that would be awesome.

Yeah!  You know....naw, not going there...

I've done everything on my end that could possibly have any effect on the 'misdirect'.  Patiently (still) waiting on you Bioware or EA (whichever has jurisdiction on this issue).

I've gotten every piece of DLC there is and have enjoyed them all (except the Inferno armor; too ugly). I have two humble requests: 1) A black fill color for the 2nd tint option. 2) A black and or a clear fill color option for the pattern color. Sadly I doubt this is even possible. Perhaps is ME3 we could have more color customization options. It would be nice to be able to change my parties armor color to match my own. I guess that's three requests.

Fun fact- I'm friends with a good friend of Seth Green. Two links in the chain of seven, and I already know Seth G.

Pretty sweet.

If my Charge hadn't failed like three times, I would've killed that last mech. That was BS, and you have video proof of it.

And hey, if you're going to laugh at anything, why not when I jumped and squealed like a baby girl when the 2nd Mech Ninja-Nuked?

Well, yeah, I didn't want to die on normal. lol

But then again, playing a Vanguard is high risk, high reward. You can die easily on any difficulty.

I love what one poster on youtube said- "You ever heard of cover?"

Me- "I'm a Vanguard. WE DON'T NEED COVER."
