However, I do know you can right click on any skin, scroll to 'skin menu' then go to 'position.' if you change the position it might make a difference. I will definitely look into this though.

This looks great, btw anyway of you or anyone else making a vid on youtube becuase i'm bound to **** it up.
I'm not going to make a video, but I am sure there are plenty there already for other skins for Rainmeter that you can find. Rainmeter.net also has some useful tips and tricks.
If you have any problems just message me or post something in the thread.

Hmm yeah, looked around some on the forums and it doesn't seem like there's a way around it. Oh well, still cool stuff. =)Dark Star wrote...
I'm not sure, the Rainmeter Forums might know something about that. My guess would be no.

I entered my weather code, that's ok, but when I change the "Metric=" from m to f, it still stays metric. I refresh it, restart it, no change.
Any ideas?

This awesome, thanks for your work! I learned to set it up just fine, but I have a small problem.

I looked throught the config file and I think I fixed what might have been the problem with the weather. I reuploaded it to deviantART so you can just redownload it there and copy-paste the new weather file out of the folder and into your skins folder where the original is located.
Sorry for the problems, and let me know if this works.

It looks like I've got everything running with the right fonts, got my weather going for my region and figured out how to switch it to english instead of metric, but...
1. Speedfan: I can't get the CPU temp to display (CPU and RAM usage, yes, but not temp). I installed speedfan, restarted, refreshed, still nothing. Thoughts?
2. A couple of the screenshots have what looks like an icon-driven launcher menu (or perhaps its a media player). What is that and where can I get it?
Thanks! Totally awesome work. I'm loving my new desktop.

Completely awesome. Thank you. Scratching my head over one or two things and hoping you can help. As it sounds like it makes a difference, I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.

Thanks for the compliments
1. Very easy to fix. With SpeedFan, each computer assigns the temperature gauges differently. So on my computer the number it might assign to the 2nd core of my processor, it might assign to your hard drive instead. I'm assuming you already know how to edit the config files, if not, check the OP or deviantART. You want to edit the config file that displays the temp. Once you open it, scroll down to here and change the number circled in red to any number through 12 (CPU is usually between 0-5). If you open SpeedFan, it should display the CPU core temps. Just change the number pictured below until the displayed temp matches up.

2. The icons I have are a part of ObjectDock. It's a free dock program from Stardock. An alternative is RocketDock. You can download custom icons from deviantART to your liking.

From the Rainmeter.net forums:xiiz wrote...
... Is there anyway to always keep it up even when using the 'show desktop' button?
What I did was right-click on the skin -> Skin Menu -> Position -> On Desktop. Next time I hit "Show Desktop", everything stayed where it was supposed to and did not disappear. If you set the position of the skins to "On Desktop" they will stay when you click "Show Desktop".

Really good work. Im loving it. How do you get the "Icons" on the top bar
The icons in the top bar are part of a program called ObjectDock, which you can download for free from Stardock.com
