It's not just the FirePower pack, BTW. Trying to purchase any DLC (including the ones I have already purchased), causes the same redirect.



I'm glad it's not just me. I kept trying to figure out what was wrong with my account settings, and when I couldn't even add BioWare points, I was sure something had gone very wrong.

Exactly, mate! I bought Just Cause 2 not too long ago, besides I'm also re-playing Warhammer 40k DoW II. That, and the good name of the company (BioWare) is riding on solving such mishaps. Wish them luck, truly.

That's a troubling comment. Reminds me about the "I hope someone releases Anthrax into the vents at Bioware" comment when the Kasumi DLC was delayed, even though it was obviously a joke (or was it?).

Wow, simply amazing!  Some 5+ days now and can't get the DLC.  Now that's a strange twist of fate!  Here's hoping they get it fixed soon and is permanently fixed prior to Shadow Broker DLC.

Can you imagine if this problem was happening with the SB DLC?  Talk about a mass riot!

If this problem was happening with a major DLC release, I'm sure Bioware would make many more resources available to fixing the problem because that problem would make its way around the blogo'sphere.



Maybe we should request someone like Kotaku and Joystiq to post on this problem so it puts pressure on Bioware to fix this fast. And by fast I mean 4 days ago.

Got the same problems. I've had problems with DLC for every Bioware release of some kind or another, almost always down to the retarded EA store. Ridiculous.

Same here.. Cannot buy new DLC 5 days now...

On some earlier DLC's I got to try to buy about 10 times to make it successfully.

Now it simply redirects to http://masseffect.bioware.com every time no matter how many times I try to buy DLC...

Also having issues. I can't DL Firepower or Aegis, or anything I don't have already. Stuff I already have redirects to my page of things I've purchased. New stuff redirects to the main site. At least I have other things to do while waiting for it to get fixed. I'm really looking forward to that Shadow Broker DLC....

Yes, I just tried it and was able to buy Bioware points and I bought the Firepower pack and have downloaded it for the PC with no problems.

I was finally able to buy it, but I still got redirected five times during the purchase. Even during the final confirmation. I'm glad things are up and running, but it's still not working perfectly yet.

I know you weren't joking, the "joke" part was about the Anthrax comment. I agree with you, there's quite a lot of cutthroats out there. Kind of sad.
