This. One you drive in vehicle and the other is armor. Firewalker is free btw.

I bought Aegis pack literally like a day before this came out.

I had 160 points left, I didn';t think I'd get anything, so I bought Dead Space weapons.

FAIL

I am inclined to say the Aegis pack, even if you have the Incisor, the entirety of the Kestrel armor is better then any combination of pieces or sets of armor you can get. The new weapons are pretty sweet but the bonuses of the armor mixed with how EPIC it looks(without the helmet anyway) are just too good to pass up imho.

Both are a colossal scam. Whoever decided to just put 4 guns in ME2 and then charge you for all the others was a genius. No doubt it was EA.

Unfortunately, you're right.. this is probably the only reason I've been buying these packs.

The only reason I care what you guys waste your money on is because if they get away with this sort of practice now, that ultimately means they'll do it again in ME3 and that means my experience suffers because theres no way in hell im buying this sort of stuff.

So for all our sakes, stop letting them nickle and dime you to death or else we'll be buying bullets in micro transactions next time around.

Oh wait, you didn't even get the correct amount of types of weapons right...that's weird...

At first I was like, oh cool, dead space DLC, thinking it was new, and content. No, its just useless weapons and armor.

Errr......I suppose the same could be said about the aegis pack or firepower 2000 pack...but dead space is not re- playable, or at least AS re-playable as mass effect is. RPG vs shooter, after all.

To answer your question friend. Oranges.

2 pistols, 3 assault rifles, 3 shotguns, 3 sniper rifles, like 5 or 6 heavy weapons, including the free dlc from cerberus network.

I have both. armor would probably be my first choice though. either way $5 cant be that hard to get

After playing the game well over 20 times now I've come to the conclusion that the best weapons are made with modded c.ini. It's cheap and it sure is fun have a nuke launcher the repeats at will (used for lulz). Plus when you get to that ridiculous robot at the end it also pays to have the Widow boosted up to 5000 for a one shot kill and end the misery of watching him twitch around the platforms every time you aim. Hold still > shoot > die you pathetic end boss. Gives me warm fuzzies just thinking about it.

That said, most of the hype around these DLC extras are just that - hype. I purchased the Kasumi DLC and have the locust which frankly isn't that much of a game changer in the long run. I'm not buying any more imaginary weapons with real money just because I think they should have been an option in the game to begin with.

Aegis... by.... by nothing, hands down. You get an armor, and a sniper for your squadies.. both very wellc rafted, and developed... except the rifle maybe because it doesn't really follow the codex. but For the most part good.

Firepower is good.

Rifle is sweet, very restricted on ammo.

PIstol is powerful, an deadly and short medium ranges... but the guy in charge of final approval was freaking high because they removed the cross hairs... this ins't that goddamn resident evil bullcrap of finding the dot on the enemy.

Shotgun. Like Incissor, good in paper, and good for squadies, but.... a shotgun that needs to charge up to unleash full power? I mena maybe double barrel to spend sinks faster, high dmg at expense of low ammo... but isn't the point of a shotgun, a quick, short, powerful blast? If I have to charge it... where does "quick" which is the main idea behind a close range weapon comes into play?.

Great idea, great development, bad final product.

Aegis. Armor for you, weapon for squadies.

Firepower... the weapons mostly are good on squadies hands, and I dont see the point of buying something to have your squadies enjoy most of it...

Weapon variations should have been in the game to begin with, and 160 MP shouldn't be wasted on something that would probably not cost more than 50 credits in the omega flea market to get these weapons lol.

Your not getting anything ground breaking. The Mattok, is nothing the revenant wont beat. Is nothing a locust can't suffice.

Pistol.... no sights... weird, if you use pistols... you might as well use fast shotguns, so the m22 is already there.

The geth shotgun.......the charging just.... breaks it. I was completely expecting a quick higher dmg shotgun with something like triple barrel or double barrel idea. Charging a shotgun contradicts the purpose of the idea behind shotguns.

Dont waste money on novelty items, that dont add that much to the game.

Firepower

Shotgun wielding squad members are much more useful. Assault gun wielding squad members are more useful. Shep's pistol and shotgun are much more useful. I could go on.

For clarity, I should have said all new things. Aegis contains incisor rifle, and equaliser contains inferno armour. Firepower on the other hand is all new.

I have to say the firepower pack was a LOT more interesting to own... armor is passive and frankly I'm barely ever aware of it's benefits when playing on insanity difficulty since shields melt within 1-2 seconds of enemy fire, regardless of what you're wearing.

The new guns on the other hand, give me 3 new ways to experience the action in the game and I'm even replaying the game just to experience them.
