I try to purchase points for a dlc I click on PC and it sends me back to social.bioware.com for DA:O and for Mass Effect 2 it sends me to masseffect.com I never get the opportunity to buy points at all.  I tried it in Google Chrome and Internet Explorer.

EDIT:  I just found the bioware points on store.ea.com

I'm still getting redirected to http://masseffect.bioware.com/ when I click the "PC" button to get the Firepower pack from the Mass Effect 2 DLC page on the social site.

Thanks guys,

Please post with the following information.

What browsers you are using?

Have you tried clearing your temp files? You can do this by going to Start => Run => %TMP%

At what point are you being redirected?

Any further details you may have.

IE, Firefox, Google Chrome

Yes cleared temp files and browser caches

Any DLC from ME 2 or DA:O through the web browser

I click Buy on any DLC then click PC if I have not been on the site in a while it asks for my password enter password then redirect (ME 2 -->> www.masseffect.com) (DA:O -->> social.bioware.com)

and if I try again it will do the same without the password.

Firefox 3.6.8, also tried on IE.

Yes, cleared temp files and browser caches.

Trying to purchase Firepower Pack DLC, I guess I have 0 points.

I click the "buy now" button at "http://social.biowar...m/page/me2-dlc", it opens a new window with the choice between PC points and Xbox points. I click the "PC" button, if I was logged in before, I get redirected to ME2 home page, if not, I'm asked to type my password and then once I do it I get redirected to ME2 home page.

Can't purchase points from the link on the lefthand side under Profile->Buy Points, it just endlessly redirects to account homepage. You might, you know, want to prioritize actually taking people's money ;¬)

I've been having this problem as well.

However, I WAS able to buy bioware points at the eastore. They then showed up when I logged into Dragon Age and I was able to purchase. I haven't tried an ME2 purchase.

First time trying to get DLC.

The points store is completely gone.

Redirects to the social network for the game you clicked to get points for.

Something is screwed up....

For the BioWare employee:
Please post with the following information.

What browsers you are using?
Firefox
Have you tried clearing your temp files? You can do this by going to Start => Run => %TMP%
First time I've come here, but I tried anyway for kicks and grins, nothing. It's obviously broken and has been for awhile, fix it.
What you are trying to purchase?
Trying to buy BioWare points so I can buy Dragon Age DLC
At what point are you being redirected?
Straight from the "Add Points" button in game (or any other link in any of your FAQ's and Forum Posts)
Any further details you may have.
It is not on our end, that's for sure. It's fairly obvious something happened or something is down on you guys' end. Lots of people are having this problem; and saying it's "fixed" when nothing has changed doesn't mean jack to us.

Its an Account issue, not a computer issue, my brother who lives overseas tried it on his mac with my account and still no luck...

As i said in the other thread similiar to this, the point its redirecting is it starts to load the checkout page but then starts to reset,

I don't know what all our accounts have in common, could it be our location? not sure just throwing out ideas

It's a good chance it's some account issue, had a rl friend of mine log in with my account from several states away and even he couldn't get through the redirection.

You could have saved all this trouble if you actually bothered testing it yourself? I really hope EA are not involved with sw:tor when its finally released otherwise i certainly won't be playing it. What an utter joke.
