At what point are you being redirected?
Same as all the others. I click on "Add Bioware points", it asks me for my password, I enter it, click ok, then get redirected to the http://social.biowar...m/user_home.php

Any further details you may have.
Well, I got my free DLC that came with my Cerberus account done downloading in about 1 hour now (this issue has been ongoing for half a day now). If I am still unable to buy points by that time, I won't buy them at all since I do not want to start a new game without having all the DLC I want (I am trying to buy Kasumi and Overlord)

And no I won't buy from eastore to have to buy more points than I need

Oh and for Info I am connecting originally from China then tried using Hong Kong, Japan, Indian and US proxies, they all gave me the same results, so I am pretty sure location is not the issue at all

I wished I'd seen this post sooner. Yes, I can also confirm that buying points. through the EAS store won't help you get the latest DLC...

This is ridiculous.. since when is EA not maddeningly quick to fix something that gets them money? This does not make sense.

Hi Issy,
Can u check any status of tech support.
I didn't have any trouble buy BW points, But when I went to buy DLC(Goto,Overlord) it purchased Confirmed Overlord twice.
When I went to log in it also redirected to ME2 site and I got a popup the said tht there was secured and unsecured content on page. I would have thought since I had to login tht the whole site would be secured,but I guess the page after all is public.
Was just wondering if u could help with this since I haven't heard from support in 48hrs@(3:00pmEDT) today(Aug.9th).

Aye, looks like they fixed their server (which is where the issue was) but it took a long time; just as well I'm a diehard collectionist and already bought the CE version or I might have been tempted to sack the whole thing off. I waited a long time as it is given their bad response to the overheating bug in Mass Effect.
