UPDATED: I have added a Poll as requested

Hey so I haven't had much to do with my original character since I've beat everything and Shadow Broker isn't out yet so I was thinking about some new content that might be cool.

My idea was that maybe you could release on option (perhaps on your private terminal?) to enter a simulation and fight enemies you have encountered before. You could choose from a couple rooms and how many opponents and which squad mates you want to take.

This would give players some more to do and a great way to test out new weapons like your firepower pack. It would be awesome for Cerberus Network since you haven't released anyhting for the CN in months.

Pinacle Station 2.0

The odd thing is this time it will be fun, rather than just highlighting all the flaws in the combat system.

It would be cool if it gave you xp as well but I'd live if it didn't, I just want something to do lol

I would really like this. Unfortunately after you finish the assignments and main missions there isnt much to do...

This! i would like to see online added to this as well maybe we could pick from our squadmates(play as legion thane grunt, ect) and team up with 2 other people online facing waves of increasingly challenging enemies. pinnacle sucked in me1 but in ME2 it would be amazing!Image IPB

Didn't even think about the online part. That would be awesome, but I think Bioware is allergic to multiplayer so I wouldn't count on it xD. And as for nothing to do after the missions that is exactly what I'm talking about lol I'm soooo bored on my main character.

I remember hearing about amonth ago that bioware was looking for someone who could take ME2's engine and adjust it for online play (don't know my source sorry)

Wow! Okay, I've mentioned Pinnacle station for ME2 several times, and no-one has ever said anything. I'm pretty sure I mentioned having it be co-op too. Nobody ever said anything before...

Well, I guess I should be glad to have some people agree with me at last. Even if they aren't agreeing with me specifically.

Only if we can meet up with Ahern again and play more of his Shanxi simulations.

I think the playing as a squadmate might be fun but it would be really weird. Like I said I've never played Pinnacle Station so if it has a virtual arena in it that would explain why I wouldn't have agreed with you, never knew it had one. Really, people who didn't restart after they beat the campaign are pretty shy on things to do... since there isn't many side missions and the few are quick.

the best idea i think, since bioware could do it, is to have the virtual reality interface of the training from ME2, and just make with settings and diff enemies

That's what I was thinking actually. I remembered those tutorials and thought, 'hey that might be cool if we could choose the enemies, map, and our weapon loadouts/squadmates. It doesn't have to give xp, though that would be nice since I have no way on my main to get xp anymore, just give some more replay value.

exactly, it would just be nice to shoot the guns with no purpose and try new powers and such, they should really look into this because they dont even have to make environments, just expand the neon arena and thats it

we need to figure out a way to convince bioware that even though people hated pinnacle station, this would be fun and people would love it, plus, what better way to truly highlight the improved, actually stellar, combat system

Yeah Bioware needs to add this, I hope they see this post....

Easy to make and all it has to do is let us test out our weapons, I wouldn't care if we were alone even so you don't have to worry about getting squadmates, just something for my main character to test out those new weps I bought in Firepower.

I started a thread like this a few weeks back, and nobody said no. BW should definetly jump at a Cerberus ver. of Pinnacle station.

Let's just hope they're listening and realize how much we want them to implement. C'mon Bioware, make the best game ever even better!

Exactly my thoughts. Pinnacle Station 2.0 ALL THE WAY!!!

I even enjoyed the challenge on the first Pinnacle Station. Guess I'm on the minority....

And tropical hunt on insanity was good... 81 kills. Ahh... Good times.

I support this idea and would pay for a Pinnacle version 2.0.

ME2 has much smoother combat and is alot better suited to a Pinnacle style DLC than ME1.

This makes me happy. I beat the crap out of this game with all 6 classes within two months of release and really wanted this but everyone was still in their first play through and was like no no no story only! Now a lot of people have beaten the game and have nothing to do but still love the game and want a reason to go back and use some of these awesome weapons being released. I hope we do get a pinnacle station 2.0. I really do

I always thought that the idea behind Pinnacle Station was good just that the idea wasnt implemented well.

ME1 didnt have the combat system for making good combat only missions and the DLC was buggy as hell.

If they used the idea revisited with the new combat system it would surely sell.

@ OP. You should make a poll and link it to the first post. Ask people if they would support the idea of a Pinnacle 2.0 combat orientated DLC.
