I don't want this, it would be so boring after the first time, because it would be the same way everytime. I would rather have something with a story that could be different when you play it.

Why would you play something for story twice?Image IPB

All I have to say is "holodeck". The SR2 has plenty of space left for it, I can even suggest the perfect place. It can be added to the cargo hold where you see the HH and shuttle, it can be accessed via new elevator stop or through latter access like (Spoiler Alert!!) when you had to play as Joker.

Just another good idea that I think someone mentioned earlier is that they can support online play with friends in some kind of Geth Invasion or Omega Clean up mode were you and your friends team up with either your own Shepards' or Host plays Shepard two friends choose to play as squad members

This would be awesome, though i think it needs to be taken a step further than just 'weapon training'. The idea above ^ to have it in the cargo hold is totally sweet, i mean, we ALL want to go down there right!? But like i said, more than just weapons training: We should be able to pick any class, all relevevant abilities and bonus abilities, armour and weapons, a host of different arenas, what type of enemies, how many of them, your squadies and what difficulty! Imagine that!! It would kick so much ass it wouldnt be funny. It would allow you to find out what play style suits you the most without having to have to start a new campaign or switch careers. You basically get to perfect your Shepard! Great for people who don't have a ton of time to play through as all classes - though i suppose most people reading this probably have invested a ton of time into this game ;) - so even better for us! And it wouldnt hurt the 'cannon' or 'realism' of being a different class because its all virtual right? As far as an online mode im sure alot of people would have heaps of fun with that, but thats not me really. But to me this would be the ultimate way to keep people hooked into this game! The most important aspect (if all of this was implemented) would be the variety of arenas, as long as theres a good amount, people wouldnt get bored at all. Something this amazing is welcome to a price tag too! Bring it on!!!

I love the pro feedback here, we're losing in the poll department though lol
The unlockable gear from Virtual Arena wins sounds like an awesome idea too, though like I said just being able to DO something would be nice.

This is a great idea as it would give them different way to explain how they added new DLC weapons/armor

This is what I'm talking about, the class thing would be interesting, but if they implement this there definitely has to be different arenas. How big or small idk or really care, just some flavor.

I'm all for the idea of a replay/training/simulation program.

While playing the IFF mission I realized how much fun it was(imo) compared to armed opponents and continuously taking cover.

I found myself shooting "zombies" from afar, up close, blowing up crates.(no cover crates)

I felt free of the cover system.

I'd replay that mission anytime.

I can see the Email now.

Illusive Man,

Shepard, now that the collectors have been delt with, we here at Cerberus have now begun our preperations to effectivley combat the Reapers. Im sure that you are taking the same measures. Our scientists have been hard at work at creating several virtual combat simulators to keep our military personel sharp and ready to handle anything that may lie ahead. Given the success, we have uploaded the program to EDI and it will be installed shortly. This will surely keep yours aswell as your teamates combat abilities at there peak in the coming time period before the Reaper invasion is actualy upon us. Who knows, you may even find the simulation entertaining.

Something like that would be logical and able to implented very well. Wasnt fond of pinnacle station but this could be great, it be worth like 300-400 microsoft points (doesnt matter really, ide still buy it lol) It would give you something to just mess around with whenever you want, and give you a chance to play around with your personal canon at your hearts desire.

I can see the dialoge too.

Shepard casualy walks in

Shepard: EDI, fire up the sim, im feeling a little rusty

EDI: Of course Shepard, which programs would you like me upload

Shepard: hmm, surprise me

EDI: Understood, initiating simulation now.

after completion of sim

EDI: exiting simulation now, well done commander, you have beaten Zaeeds best time.

Joker: nice shepard, the reapers wont know what hit them

Just my thougths, BioWare, i hope your paying attention alot of people think this is a good idea

Lol I love it. Had to laugh at the 'beat Zaeed's time' comment, though I'd probably never be able to go down and talk to him again xD

If BW ignores this, they are throwing away potential sales.

I think quite a few people play Mass Effect more than twice for a different story.

Seriously, why don't they think of this lol? They could have more DLC's like new maps for the Virtual Arena or new enemies, etc...

Popular and a cash cow? Win-win situation?

the thing is, that ME1 didn't really need pinnacle station (at least not that much) because it has an ending which prevents the player from playing further. But as that doesn't apply for ME2 you just end up in a dead end with nothing left to do and nobody left to be shot at. You can't even use your guns anymore. =/

Mass Effect 2 NEEDS THIS!!!

Oh, and more thresher maws. Oh, and that red, flying larva looking... thing that drops Klixen. Oh, and that minotaur-barbarian creature (the statue in the vault in Kasumi's loyalty mission), please.

Yep, definitely need more thresher maws. The second thing you mention is a Harvester, which was originally designed as an ME1 mako enemy... it might not die as easy as a thresher lol. But that gives me an idea, maybe there could be a couple Hammerhead virtual arena maps where you could use the hammerhead to fight things like the Colossus?

Thumbs up! Works for Unreal Tournament, Star Wars Battlefront, and tons of other fps's. It shouldn't be mandatory, just a little addition for people looking for more.
