Yes!  The system you suggest (choose an attitude for your Shepard's response) worked very well in Alpha Protocol.

At the end of 2 if you go to your in room terminal the second computer next to it will allow you to call up your LI then you both can sit on the couch or use the bed to cuddle.



But more interaction with your LI both inside and outside your quarters would be a good add maybe they can give you gifts like armor, guns, and powers. Maybe your LI can have some things in your room too so you know they visit if not live up there with you.

Some more LI interaction would be good (maybe unmarked envelopes stuck to the door?), but also maybe more general crew interaction. I loved wandering around the ship to hear people talking about stuff. I know the game isn't a social sim, but everyone is still only human (or quarian, or asari, or turian, or drell, or krogan, or salarian...) and everyone can't be expected to just clam up and focus only on the mission 100% of the time.

The TV is the best idea so far. Would love to be able to watch the news and maybe add one or two more channels for comedy or music. Replying back to emails would also be great. You could even use this method to unlock hidden side missions depending on how certain conversations went. I would also like to see some more interactivity like squadmates coming up there from time to time when they would like to discuss something serious or personal. Being able to sit on the couch or desk would be nice. Bottom line is that we need REASONS to spend time up there and currently we just don't have them unless you really like feeding fish.

Oooo hidden side missions is a great idea! I wished there were more side missions.

In my honest opinion I love cluttered environments and as I dated Liara in ME1 I refused to have a partner as this'll affect ME3. So the loft is kind of lonely for me
