Well I just got my computer in I'd say around Sept of 2009 for specifically Dragon Age Origins and I can play the game on Very High graphics and such. What sends a chill down my spine though is that I keep hearing they are updating the graphics again. Now is it just consol version they are or am I going to have to update my computer yet again to be able to play on Very High graphics? I just don't think I can get the cash for it this year as it's been more tight then usual. Either way I think the graphics look very well as is.

If it's can run on the Ps3 and the xbox 360 i really doubt you will need a nuclear toaster to run it.
Updated graphic don't neccessary mean higher configuration needed. It's just mean updated graphic.

You know it's like drawing mickey mouse and your second mikey mouse take less time to draw and look better.
You know ... :P

I wouldn't worry about it MachineMaiden. The game is being made for all platforms, which means it's a safe bet that any pc with moderate specs will be able to run it.

Although it has not been officially confirmed, I'm pretty sure that the engine used is the same as DA:O with a mild graphical tweak. As far as requirements are concerned I would bet they will be roughly the same as the first with the exception of hard drive space needed, which may in fact increase. So for your specific case you should have no need for upgrades in regards to DA2
