Can one add VFX in cuscenes?

In a module that I'm planning, a specific something has to burn. I'm wondering if one can add VFX in cuscenes, or at the very least I can trigger things like spell VFX to simulate burning. The object doing the burning doesn't have to change during the fire shown in the cutscene, but it does need to be on fire. (And preferrably start without any fires.)

Yes you can use vfx's

Right click in the cutscene viewing window and a menu should come up that allows you to add a vfx. You will have to choose the vfx from window list and then place the vfx in the cutscene. In some cases you will just place the vfx in a spot, in others you will link it to an actor or object.



You can save yourself some time by using my DAfxlisting spreadsheet which lists various fx's and what they do. (for instance you could search the spreadsheet for 'fire' and it will list all the vfxs that have fire.)
