Basically, I got someone that I want to block. I want to confirm if they are added to my block list. When I go to Profile -> Privacy Options I see the option to add someone, but I can't view the list of those that I add to confirm that the user was actually added.
If I block major forum trolls (such as those that were IP-banned on the WAR forums and not yet banned here) then it doesn't seem to actually ignore their posts. Is there a way to make sure that I don't see their posts?

Blocked users will be listed above the add link. Blocking prevents a user from interacting with your profile but does not hide posts.

Why wouldn't someone that I tried to add to my block list not be added? I've tried to add someone multiple times and yet my block list is empty.

Are you spelling it correctly? There is a suggestion list and nonexistent users are automatically culled from the list.

I'm sure I got it spelled correctly. I click on the name in the suggestion list that shows up when I start typing the name. It shows the name above the box with a red X next to it. The next time I look at the Privacy Settings page the blocked users list is empty again.

That's odd, it's database driven. Then I'm out of suggstions.
