fallout new vegas is a collection of overglorified mods for fallout3 but instead of downloading it for free from the internet, you have to pay for it instead.

BTW, a lot of games using the Unreal Engine have that dark look to them.

Cool poster as the article said.

Too bad that the gameplay of New Vegas, despite having Obsidian at developing, will be the same **** from Fallout 3 with his modified and dumbed down SPECIAL ruleset. But at least, since we have Obsidian (former Black Isle, which is the creator of the serie) working on it I have hope that the story, the missions and the npcs will be interesting, at least.

Valkyria Chronicles I loved because it is pretty much a modern version of Jagged Alliance. Sure it lacks the overworld and exploration aspect (in favor of a linear level setup) but the actual combat and how the characters interacted was very much like Jagged Alliance.

I have yet to try Jagged Alliance, but have always meant to.
