It may be just my newness to the game, but I have run into a couple of problem spots during the Harvest Fair tutorial that have prevented me from continuing.

1. If anyone but my character takes the crossbow during the archery contest, they run out of ammo after practice shots and I'm unable to continue. The game just repeats the message "out of ammo" and the elf keeps directing me to shoot the ten bottles.

2. Worse is the brawl. I am unable to engage the opposing group in battle. Even armed with a club, the only option is to speak with the members of the other group and all they do is grunt. I am then trapped inside the fighting ring. What am I doing wrong in both instances?
