For my first Shep, I'll go with Tali.
For femShep, I've stuck with Liara and plan on continuing to do so.
For RenegadeShep? I'll either pick yet another interest for part 3, or just kill off everybody and rule as evil overlord of the post-Reaper galaxy.

ME1 love intrest, the ME2 romances for male Shepard were just lust, imo.

I avoid the whole problem by not doing romances for my main shep, she's saving herself for ME3 LI's. But on my others, it's Kaidan > Jacob, and Liara < Garrus.

Never cheated with any of my Shepards. I'd never think of doing that in real life, I couldn't do that in a game either.
