Nathaniel would be a nice addition to DA2. He was like the most likeable new character to me, one that wasn't just a "re-imagined" version of old characters.

Nathaniel was one of my favorite companions in Awakening or Origins, and would certainly not mind seeing his return. Too bad he'd have to go leave to do his thing in Amaranthine, but I guess he could return later.

I think there's more to explore with his character if they decide to bring him back, especially if the "revenge" thing is out of the way. I hope it isn't just a small cameo, but I'll take what I can get.

If he is consider my DA2 wishlist fulfilled that means the only 2 companions I liked from Awakening will show up since I'm pretty sure "mysterious human mage guy" is probably Anders
