Hi peoples,

I'm kinda new to the DA toolset and what with the wiki and the ton of tutorial vids online its not to bad.

Anyway I'm working on a new campaign and i'm trying to invoke the character creation screen so I followed the instructions on the wiki page to do so: social.bioware.com/wiki/datoolset/index.php/Making_a_new,_playable_module

I tried both ways copying the script from the demo module and copy the code straight off the page to my own script.

This is also is what I get when I load up the demo module, it does'nt affect the main game though.

Any help would be great!

this looks like your character creation level is not working. there is no backdrop and clearly no light, but the character is present. If you did not intend to change the "character stage" level, then I suggest you go over what you've done and see how it might have been removed or misreferenced.

Thanks for your replys, the character creation screen still works and I can load the character into the start point its just not lit i guess. I'm not sure what the follower tutorial has to do with it I did do something like that as just a play around, here's a link: www.youtube.com/watch

Maybe that has something to do with my problem?

EDIT: After messing about for a while i've got it working, not sure what I did but it included moving my modules folder from the addins in my docs and removing it from the manage modules window the only way i knew how reinstall the toolset, then loading up the demo campaign and the character creation worked. Now i just gotta put my campaign back together and hopefully I won't have to do this again...

I had a similar problem in one of my modules (no light during character creation). It turned out that my module_core script seemed to be the reason for the problem. I still don't know what exactly was wrong with it, but after re-writing it the light in the character creator was back.
