Since not all of us were able make it to comic con it would be great if bioware was to show some footage of the demo, especially because IIRC hawke has some speaking lines

They made it pretty clear that this will not happen. We'll see the first trailer in 13 days. Even then, don't expect a lot. Or who knows.

I know, the wait is killing me. Killing me softly. I hope the trailer is good. But...let's face it: I'm so desperate for Dragon Age 2 that even if the trailer is a two second clip of a darkspawn's foot I'll probably jumping up and down and shouting for joy.



I'm sure we'll get gameplay footage eventually.

My biggest fear is that the announcement trailer will be a bunch of alpha gameplay.

More likely it will be just a pre-rendered CG cutscene that has nothing to do with actual game engine.

I thought the Comic con footage was for "special" people only (not open to the public). I was hoping it would get leaked, but it didn't happen

We were all put into a square room, there really was not any chance that someone could sneak in a video camera or even mask taking pictures. Security was tight.

Still, I feel almost discriminated to not be part of those lucky enough to be there... another reason for a "I don't feel part of the BioWare community".

Which is like being discriminated on by the Swiss because they won't ship you their Alps. Some things you have to be THERE to experience.

please let it be ingame footage or a movie trailer that also exists in the game and not some false advertisement with fight moves that aren't included in the end product

I could go for something in-engine.  Not that I don't adore your Blur trailers, BioWare, but I think in-engine would be a good way to assuage a lot of people's concerns.

I am almost sure that the vid will feature Cassandra the templar, and that dwarf talking about Hawke. Or something similar. With some looks on the Free Marches, but no direct gameplay FROM DA2...

Well, they could always try.  S&H charges will be horrendous though.  I'm personally waiting for a free shipping sale.
Though knowing my luck it'll be the day after I'm 6' under. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png[/smilie]
Anyways, for the debut trailer I'm guessing we'll see some in-engine stuff, hear some detached narration voice, and have a lovely blood dragon Bioware -> EA logo, maybe we'll also see some pre-rendered eye candy.
