I never said I disliked Tali, I actually like her a bit but I'll admit she has her flaws. (Like everyone)

I hate her fans and the way they will defend Tali til death and deem you a troll if you don't do the same.

Unfortunately, not many people are willing to put the time or effort into writing a coherent post addressing someone else's points, instead dismissing them for falling into some random clique they disapprove of. You'll notice that the quote pyramid there is composed almost entirely of 1-2 sentence posts...I don't have time at the moment to join in the discussion with a lengthy answer, but I can tell you're making a better effort than the rest.

Yes. This is exactly what Tali fans do. You can't go in the Tali thread or make a Tali thread and insist she is anything but perfect without being called a troll and Legion fanboy.

Tali in the first game was weird, at times she was strong minded and independant. She could survive on her own in most situations, only needing help when she literally went up against an omniscient supercriminal. She at first had trouble on the ship but she quickly adapted and became a popular crewmember with little more in the way of social faux pas when talking with the commander. She was an ok character, but she wasn't all that interesting and her backstory was probably the least developed, mainly down to the fact she was young and had little to tell other that having daddy issues like half of the rest of the cast. She was really only there to be another token alien, which apart from a lack of Salarian featured all the the aliens that were humanoid enough to fight. Because of this most of what you did talk to her about was the race itself, not the actual character.

In Mass Effect 2 she was a nervous virgin blushing evertime the commander even spoke to her, her infatuation with the commander literally defining her personality. This seemed to negate whatever small character development there was for her in the first game as she matured in the mission and became fully of age. At the end it seemed, although still quirky she was more confident and was ready to become a productive member of the fleet. It seems that despite being sent on missions with deadly commandoes and being one of the few survivors of the geth attack she still seemed similar but worse than her worst points in the first game.

What is worse, she is willing to risk her life to f*** a man on a whim just because  she finds his position and his physical appearance attractive. Showing how messed up her priorities truly are. Instead of working on the ship to make sure it is fully ready for a suicide mission, she finds someway to have short, disapointing sex with an emotionally crippled zombie.

I liked her in ME1, and early days of ME2

I was an avid poster of that thread on my old account, I liked tali stories and quarian-geth debates

But the thread became an incoherent mess of crappy art, spam, and fapfics. When I showed one bit of dislike for a topic, LOL TROLL GTFO
