Allow me to elaborate. Tali is the most, and most vocalized popular character, as evidenced by multitude of threads, thread size, and polls.
Nearly all the characters are popular to a certain extent. Except Jacob.

Then your comeback is, "It was just a question, dont crucify me" When everybody knows thats exactly what you intended.
If you have a statement, make it. However, you may want to think where you say it. Instead of say, invading her fan thread to harrass the posters, make a thread like this one. Make clear arguments, back them up, and wait for a real response.
Its not hard to give critisism, however its laughably easy to troll.

typical LONG tali fic:
Shepard dies, Tali bawws
Shepard comes back, Tali's old feelings return
Tali cannot muster enough courage to talk to shepard
random crap here and there, ocassionaly old L.I comes back, compares how "better" tali is
Tali finally fcks shepard at the end
shorter ones:
random crap with Tali and shepard suffering emotional problems which are just horribly predictable
of course just call me a troll like the rest of your base....

Their fanfics. Fanfics are, by their very nature, terrible. hence why they're fanfics. not screenplays.

So bad fanfic is bad. If you have a problem with bad fanfics, I think you should consider leaving the internet, because its full of **** like that. Let me start naming off bad fanfic's I've seen...

I've stated, many many times. Tali's fanbase is the largest, and the most vocal. THAT is why her popularity brings character hate.
