"As for being a "nervous virgen blushing evertime the commander even
spoke to her", erm, correct me if I'm wrong, but thats usually how
those with a crush act... "
I disagree, that is sometimes the case but Tali was a stronger character than that, she seemed to be acting like a teenager, not an adult streetwise commando.
"She still strikes me as a mature member of the fleet, on your initial
meeting, she's in full control of the quarian strike team and seems very
confident. (Until they decide to be sneaky, but meh, minions, what can
you do?)"
She does have moments of maturity, but her interactions with many characters suggest otherwise. For instance, instead of making a reasonable debate in the argument with legion she flies of the handle and makes herself look like a crazy ****. She lacks maturity in many situations.
"And now we come to the physical relationship. Now, bioware never really
lets you "**** on a whim", maybe you slept through the layers of
dialauge, but its anything if on a whim. Sex is part of love, its
always going to happen, it developed along a natural progression, I can
find no fault with it that any of the other relationship options didnt
have. If anything the "speed" of its development is due to the
"tomorrow we may die" plot point, something quite common in any
fictional wartime romance."
Except the progression is unnatural. They seem to be completely mismatched. I can definitely agree that there might be infatuation if the path is pursued but nothing more than that. And I could understand that they might hurry up the relationship, Tali spends weeks planning it and she risk her own life for sex, that argument applies more to the other romances.
