Hi all, I'm considering getting the PC version of the game (currently have PS3) so that I can mess around with the toolset. Which means that, yes, despite never having touched the toolset, I am thinking of undertaking the relatively lofty endeavor of modding a new companion. So I have just a couple of quick questions:
First, is it possible to make the companion's appearance (hair, skin tone, etc.) change at a certain point in the game, or is that stuck after creation?
Second, can it be scripted so that his specializations (throughout the game) are beyond the player's control? I know I can start him with a specialization (right?), but what about changing/adding one later? For instance, let's say I want to start him as a berserker, and then at a certain point in the game have him automatically add the reaver specialization. I want him to level normally otherwise, but for plot purposes, the specialization(s) he adds (and when he adds them) have to be set in stone.
Further, what if I want him, at an even later point in the game, to be able to switch from reaver to, say, champion? In other words, "undo" the reaver specialization and (automatically) add the champion spec. in it's place. And, of course, give the player and equivalent amount of points to spend on champion skills to replace the "lost" skills, so that he isn't effectively leveled down. Is this doable?
Thanks in advance for answers to any of these questions.
