I got to the part in the landsmeet quest where the main character and Alistair get captured and thrown in prison. I chose to wait for the other characters to rescue them. But after fighting through all the guards and getting to their cell, nothing happens. Alistair and the main character won't join the party and I can't leave without them. Is there something I'm missing, or do I have to start all over from the beginning with a new file?

Just to make it so no one suggests doing something I already did, I already killed all the enemies in the fort that I could, and got Alistair and the main character's armour and weapons back. Yet still nothing happens.

Is no one going to help me? What good is having a forum based tech-support when no one is going to even answer any of my questions?

Silly question, but did you unlock the cell door and approach your Warden?

This has happened to me before because I unlocked the door through skill and not with the guard key. Had to reload and it worked just fine, maybe try that?

I was inside the cell standing right beside my Warden, but nothing happened. And I don't think I picked the lock, because I had Oghren and Wynne in the rescue team, and neither of them have that skill. I'll try reloading my game to see if it works, but in case it doesn't I've already started a new game file.

If you want people to help you, post this on the DA2 General Discussion page. Itle get locked in an hour, but people will answer your questions within a minute.

As for this problem, I guess it was just a hickup in the programming, because I reloaded my last auto-save and tried again, and this time it worked.
