So when I try and install the Dragon Age Toolset this eventually pops up:

Error opening file for writing: C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Common Files\\BioWare\\Uninstall Dragon
Age Toolset.exe

It then gives me the option to abort, retry, or ignore. If I hit retry it just pops back up. When I look in my Common Files it appears that no BioWare folder exists. I own the game throught steam. I have no idea what to do. ../../../images/forum/emoticons/sad.png

Please Help Me!

It seem that you don't have write permissions in that folder. and you casn't install anything if you don't have write permissions. so make sure you run windows as a admin.

I ran the installer as an admin but it didn't seem to work. I am also the only administrator on this computer. I am still having trouble but thanks anyway.

I solved the issue. All I had to do is create a folder called BioWare in my Common Files.
