I downloaded the new firepower pack today and it isn't showing up in my game. Do I have to start a new game to have it or am I missing something?

You should be able to change it once you go to select a new mission or you can change the weapons in the place where Jacob is.

Yeah I tried both of those. I've even done a mission and come back and tried. No emails from the illusive man or anything. It's like it's not there. Though it downloaded just fine.

Same problem. Started a new playthrough to finally do Insanity ... and no new guns.

Well I started over and they were there. Then I purchased the Aegis pack (I think it was called) and then they weren't there. I wasn't going to start over again so I said screw 'em. They showed up about two hours later. So you don't need to start over, I'm not sure what triggers it, but if you just keep playing you should eventually get them.
