The problem with an STD aspect in Origins was that well, one of the ladies you could sleep with at the Brothel who was the BOUNCER, slept with a love interest. It would suck to get an STI from a love interest rofl

sSSSH. I'm trying to salvage a decent discussion about a minor game perk that could call for some fun innovative discussions about side quests, easter eggs, and most importantly immersion. The Pearl was about immersion. It was not ethical but it was sure...accurate into the world. You could be a good guy or you could run around to brothels. Really, I swear, we could make this interesting and not trollish guys! Guys..? .....I'll leave now xD

I loved the brothel option. I even loved Alistair's comment about it: "So this is a brothel? Why is it called that, there isn't even any broth......is there?"



I would even approve of a temporary STD, but the temporaryness of it would be rather unfitting of the timeframe so I'd say leave that out.

good idea.......it would also be good if this was an option that you'd have 2 pay an expert mage 2 remove the STD's.....XD

I think it would be great if you could hang out at a brothel and develop friendships with the people working there - they'd recognize you when you came in, talk about what had been going on in your lives, then head to bed for some entertainment and coin.



You could have side missions about helping the place stay free of unwanted elements, help out one of the girls who is being harassed, talk to another girl about what to do with an unwanted pregnancy, place a homeless girl in the care of the mistress, (better than living on the streets) and all sorts of other possibilities.

There have been brothels in BioWare games since BGI, although in those far distant days all the ****s were mysteriously busy whenever you tried to actually have sex with them.



It's probably just as well my mother never realised how many hookers there were in that game. (My brother was only fourteen or so when we were first playing it.)

Now I will add my two cents into your thread. I think in DA2 if your are at a brothel and you have a LI they should comment on it. Say you are in love with one of your companions and you go in. Well if they are like Zevran whos a **** anyway. S/he would get excited about it. OR say someone like Morrigan would be discussed by the idea of it. I think this would give you some concequences to your relationships with your LI and really give it the moral aspect to it. This way its not just your character getting his/her fuzz on.

i think you should be able to **** out your characters and order the ****s to give Alistair a lap dance xD
